Essay on Volcanoes
Volcanoes
Volcanoes are natural phenomena which are on the Earth's surface through which molten rock and
gases escape from below the surface (Tarbuck, 139). These volcanoes are very interesting to
observe and to study because of their amazing occurrences and majestic lava eruptions. Volcanoes
have been studied ever since the beginning of mankind and the word "volcano" is thought to be
derived from Vulcano, a volcanic island in the Aeolian Islands of Italy whose name in turn
originates from Vulcan, the name of a god of fire in Roman mythology. Consisting of several types,
volcanoes can extrude several forms of magma and can also release multiple gases. These extruded
materials can affect the Earth's structure and atmosphere.
There are...show more content...
Last but not least, composite volcanoes also make up some of the earth's surface. Composite
volcanoes have a conical shape, with a steep summit area and gradually sloping flanks, and are
nearly symmetrical in structure (Tarbuck, 141). These volcanoes release silica–rich and gaseous
magma that is highly viscous and travels very short distances. These three types of volcanoes that
occupy the earth have seemingly different physical characteristics and behavioral changes.
A volcanic eruption is one of the most dangerous and eventful natural disasters that can take place.
During these eruptions, several factors are taken into account. Each type of volcano discussed above
has a different form of lava: one's might be highly fluid and the other might be very viscous. Lava
can take many shapes as it is extruded from a volcano. One such form is that of pahoehoe.
Usually common on the Hawaiian volcanoes, pahoehoe is a form of lava which is smooth and
ropy and causes by the congealment of lava as it is released from the volcano (Williams, 32).
Another form of lava is one that is named aa. This lava consists of jumbles of rough, clinkery, and
spinose fragments, ranging from small chips to blocks measuring meters on a side (Williams, 37).
Aa flows are cool and thick and can advance at rates between 5 and 50 meters per hour (Tarbuck,
145). Lava can also take a block formation

Liberal Arts Education Essay
A liberal arts education is one that, by definition, focuses not on one specific subject, but rather
prepares its student by giving them knowledge in many areas and developing the student's critical
thinking that will allow them to adapt to an ever–changing world. Naturally, this means students at a
university that employs a liberal arts education take classes outside their major. Students of the
humanities or social sciences must enroll in courses of mathematics and natural sciences, and while
many find no joy in such requirements, they better the individual and are helpful in everyday life,
as well as in larger issues. As Crane and Chiles so eloquently write, specifically of science, "Science
matters at a liberal–arts university because the problems facing our global community will not be
solved by scientists alone." Mathematics as a subject acts in a similar way, giving skills to students,
non–mathematics majors included, to help in their everyday lives or potentially to help the world.

To do that, Chopp argues that "What you have to do is to learn the very tools of learning itself. The
liberal arts are...the gold standard for that" (qtd. in Goral). Students, particularly those in the
humanities and social sciences, are thus offered different methods of learning when classes stretch
beyond their major. As is an essential part of a liberal arts education, this breadth of knowledge
enhances the critical and intellectual thinking of students that otherwise might not have had the
opportunity to do so. The creativity and pursuit of knowledge encouraged by non–STEM majors has
much to offer to solve the problems of the world, and a basic understanding of mathematics and
sciences means that these problems seem much more understandable, their solutions more

International Students Essay example
Differences between American Students and International Students Most young people believe that
studying in a different country is a privilege because they are able to experience other cultures, and
learn from them. However, in the United States it is not as good as they thought because
International students have much more pressure being in this country, and sometimes they cannot
handle it very well. Therefore, in the United States the life of an international student is very
unfavorable if people compare it to the life of an American student. International students have to
learn a new language to study, they cannot work while studying, and their tuition is much more
expensive. When people moves to the United Stated to study they...show more content...
They know their structure and have a very superior vocabulary, so they can compose excellent
essays. In addition, since American students speak English very well, they do not have any
problem participating in class. They have confidence in themselves, so they will not be afraid of
saying something wrong. Consequently, because American students do not have to learn any
language to study their mayor, it is much easier for them to achieve excellent grades. Most
university students feel the necessity of working since they would like to have their own money
in order to be independent from their parents. It is not the exception for International students
because they also feel the necessity of working to be independent from their parents or whoever is
responsible for them. However, for international students to work in the United States it is very
difficult because they are only allowed to work on campus. These kinds of jobs are very limited
since some of the campuses in which they study are very small. Also for an international student to
find a job on campus is difficult because people prefer to employee an American student who is
not going to have any problem speaking the language. For example, last semester a friend from
Venezuela who is studying at Miami Dade College decided that he wanted to get a job in order to
have his own money. He went to

Coronary Artery Disease Essay
Coronary Artery Disease, also known as CAD, is the most common form of heart disease. (Heart
and Stroke Foundation, 2009) Coronary Artery Disease obstructs the blood flow in vessels that
provides blood to the heart which is caused by the buildup of plaque on the artery walls. (Rogers,
2011, p.87) (Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2009) Plaque is a yellow substance that consists of fat
substances, like cholesterol, and narrows or clogs the arteries which prevents blood flow. (Heart and
Stroke Foundation, 2009) Plaque can build up in any artery but usually favors large and medium
sized arteries. (Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2009)
Symptoms of Coronary Artery Disease include shortness of breath, pain, dizziness, angina, heart

(Mayo Clinic, 2013) Some surgical procedures used to treat CAD are angioplasty and coronary
artery bypass surgery. (Mayo Clinic, 2013) The angioplasty surgery is when your doctor inserts a
catheter to the blockage in the artery and threads the wire through the narrowed arteries.
(Opening blocked coronary arteries: New questions about the old answer, nd., p.2) Once the
balloon is in place, at the sight of the blockage, the balloon inflates which causes the plaque to
crack and the artery to become free from blockage. (Opening blocked coronary arteries: New
questions about the old answer, nd., p.2) The other surgical opinion for CAD is coronary artery
bypass surgery is a procedure done by a doctor using a graft. (Mayo Clinic, 2013) The doctor will
construct a graft to direct the blood flow around the blockage using existing blood vessels in the
body. (Mayo Clinic, 2013) Due to the fact that this procedure requires open heart surgery, it is
usually used for patients with several partial or full blockages. (Mayo Clinic, 2013)
Coronary Artery Disease can be prevented by controlling your blood pressure, diabetes and blood
cholesterol. (Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2009) Other ways to lower your risk of developing CAD
is by eating healthy foods low in fat, being active, not smoking, limiting alcohol consumption, lessen

THE SEVEN ARMY VALUES Essay
In the United States Army we are taught to live by the Seven Army Values. They are broken
down to us in the acronym 'LDRSHIP' which is short for Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service,
Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage. We are all taught these 7 Army values repeatedly from
day one in the United States Army. First we memorize these values. Then we are trained to live
by them. All of these 7 values coincide with each other, and play an important roll in our Army
lives. These 7 Army Values also play well into life outside the Army in our personal life. People

Also improving their performance is a necessity to make a more stable unit. Respect is to "Treat
people as they should be treated." Every soldier is responsible for treating other people with
dignity and respect. As Soldiers we pledge to treat others with respect and dignity while not
expecting anything in return. Respect allows us to appreciate what our Army leaders and Friends
do for us. Respect is to have trust that people will fulfill their duties and accomplish what is
expected of them. Respecting ones self is an important factor of the Army value of respect. We, the
United States Army are one team and we each have something to contribute. What is respect?
Respect has numerous forms. It can be self–awareness, character, understanding, trust, honesty, and a
positive attitude. Respect must be earned. If someone does not respect himself or herself then
they are not able to respect others. To gain respect you must treat others the way you would want
to be treated, as you have heard many times before. If a unit lacks respect it cannot have
teamwork and sympathy for the well being of others. It creates devotion to the success of the
team. Respect goes both ways up and down the chain of command. A leader must respect his or her
soldiers as their soldiers must appreciate the sacrifices and skills their superiors and vice versa. by
respecting the people around you with effort, and in time soldiers come to respect each other.

Reflective Essay
I have been taking Expository Writing for 4 months. I have found that I need to be able to
communicate myself in writing. I must relay exactly what I'm trying to put forth to others and
convey the right message of understanding. I must be able to explain myself, negotiate, and work
in teams. My language skills can be worked on and improved. I need to be able to pick up the
language of whatever environment I'm in whether it be at work or school, or in society. Since
everyone does not have the same background, learning how to write the written word is important
in any environment. I have learned how to write and express myself, how to think for myself, and
how to find answers to things I do not know. Most important I have learned how to believe in my
writing.
I was very hesitant in taking this English class, I have not taken an English class in many years.
When I took the placement test for reading and English, I tested out of all categories. I was proud
of myself for that feat. When I found I was going to have to take a college level English class, I
avoided it at all costs. Too much pressure. However, I have learned about the Rhetorical Essay
was to understand how an author writes and not focus on what the content is. Knowing the
explanation of what techniques and author uses to make their point come across to the intended
audience. I learned about Argumentative Research Paper is to debate both sides of an issue. The
intent is to be unbiased and state the facts on either side. I learned about Public Piece with
Presentation is meant to deliver an effective presentation to engage your audience. Your audience
listens to not only what you are saying but your visual engagement in the topic being presented.
Also, the point of the class is to be able to work with others to achieve a desired outcome or task.
To know that I can work with others in a cohesive environment to draw on everyone's input and
views. This will assist me in the real work of life and assist in handling many types of people and
myself in communicating.
I have never been a good writer; however, I have learned that communication is not the same when

Cookies Essay
Ice cream, cookies, cake , candy, or just plain chocolate–whatever it is, we all have our vices. Mine

of my favorites are snickerdoodles. They're a classic, right up there with chocolate chip, sugar, peanut
butter, or oatmeal raisin cookies. And you know what? You don't even have to go out and buy them.
You can make them at home, and I can show you how.
Regardless if you're cooking or baking, the first thing you should do is read the recipe you're

This serves a couple purposes: the sugar is distributed throughout the butter, and allows it to dissolve
into the butter. Additionally, as you beat the butter and sugar together, you're incorporating air into
the batter, giving our cookies a lighter, fluffy texture. The air pockets in the cookie dough are poor
heat conductors, meaning that they help insulate the dough and slow down the rate that the butter
and sugar melt (Parks). Ideally, butter that's room temperature should be used for this process. It's
not only easier to mix, but there's a science behind it. Butter that's too cold doesn't mix well and
doesn't get enough air bubbles. Using melted butter will get air bubbles in the batter, but will
collapse and make the cookies thin (Robbins). After the sugar and butter have been beaten into a
fluffy paste, add the eggs and mix well.
In a separate medium sized bowl, you add the dry ingredients: 2 Вѕ cups flour, 2 tsp. Cream of tartar,
1 tsp. Baking soda, and ВЅ tsp. Salt. These are whisked together and mixed separately. When you
mix the dry ingredients separately, you ensure that the soda, salt, and cream of tartar are evenly
distributed. Mixing wet and dry ingredients separately allows each set to be mixed thoroughly on its
own and combined together with little mixing. In most cases overmixing creates a tough texture.
Dry ingredients should be added gradually.
After the dough is mixed, you need to let it rest and chill in

Expository Writing Rough Draft
Everything Wrong With School In 10 Minutes or Less!
When I was twelve, I had no appreciation for school. I saw it as nothing more as a glorified
daycare center with all the rules and regulations specifically designed to restrict as much fun as
possible. Then one day in the ninth grade, I had a revelation: what if school was actually meant to
build me up with knowledge and facts and not just waste my time? This was the foundation I
needed to get me through the next four years. Whenever I was bored, I would remind myself that I
'd never have a "free" education like this again. I adapted particularly well to this system of tests,
quizzes, and science labs but I could never understand the hang up some people had with it. School
was basic and easy and all it seemed to require was consistency an+d proper scheduling. I looked at
people who couldn 't understand US History or Geometry and I thought they were dumb. It wasn 't
until much later with much more reflection that I came to conclude there 's a difference between
how you score on the SATs and how smart you actually are. Education isn 't necessarily a direct line
to becoming intelligent and knowledgeable; education is nothing more than an institution designed
to equip people with subsets of specialized processing methodologies, algorithms, and a fair bit of
esoteric trivia. Furthermore, the current educational system in place is inefficient because of its rigid
nature.

How to Analyze an Expository Essay
Expository writing, in general, is present everywhere. When you pick up a magazine or examine a

many students are required to produce research papers about a specific topic, such as migration

Gather all the ingredients and put them in the blender. To make things easier, put the fruits first, and

add the yogurt. When all the ingredients are in the blender, turn it on, using the liquefy or puree

mixed up well with the liquid and the yogurt. Make sure to put the cap on the blender and watch out
for the cutter! It hurts if you cut yourself on it.
When the ice cubes stop blending, turn off the blender and see if the smoothie is clear and if there
are no chunks of fruits inside. Get a spoon and move it around in the blender to check. If the
smoothie looks too thin add more fruits or ice and this should thicken it up. If it looks too thick, add
more liquid in it. Adding yogurt or a banana will thicken the smoothie, but don't add both unless
another watery fruit is used in the smoothie.

Gonorrhea
Gonorrhea is a curable, bacterial, sexually transmitted disease caused by a bacterium called Neisseria

These bacteria can infect the genital tract, the mouth, and the rectum. It attacks the urethra in males,
the cervix in females, and the throat. The majority of the organisms belonging to this family are
non–pathogenic or commensals, however, gonorrhea is always pathogenic. Gonorrhea's mode of

Doctors usually prescribe a combination of antibiotics, such as ceftriaxone and doxycycline or
azithromycin, which will treat both diseases. Serious complications can result, however, when left
untreated. In untreated gonorrhea infections, the bacteria can spread up into the reproductive tract,
or more rarely, can spread through the blood stream and infect the joints, heart valves, or the brain.
The most common result of untreated gonorrhea is PID, a serious infection of the female
reproductive organs. Gonococcal PID often appears immediately after the menstrual period. PID
causes scar tissue to form in the fallopian tubes. If the tube is only partially scarred, the fertilized egg
cannot pass into the uterus. If this happens, the embryo may implant in the tube causing a tubal
pregnancy. This serious complication results in a miscarriage and can cause death of the mother.
Rarely, untreated gonorrhea can spread through the blood to the joints.
Gonorrhea is treated with antibiotic drugs taken orally or by an injection. All partners must be

  • 1. Essay on Volcanoes Volcanoes Volcanoes are natural phenomena which are on the Earth's surface through which molten rock and gases escape from below the surface (Tarbuck, 139). These volcanoes are very interesting to observe and to study because of their amazing occurrences and majestic lava eruptions. Volcanoes have been studied ever since the beginning of mankind and the word "volcano" is thought to be derived from Vulcano, a volcanic island in the Aeolian Islands of Italy whose name in turn originates from Vulcan, the name of a god of fire in Roman mythology. Consisting of several types, volcanoes can extrude several forms of magma and can also release multiple gases. These extruded materials can affect the Earth's structure and atmosphere. There are...show more content... Last but not least, composite volcanoes also make up some of the earth's surface. Composite volcanoes have a conical shape, with a steep summit area and gradually sloping flanks, and are nearly symmetrical in structure (Tarbuck, 141). These volcanoes release silica–rich and gaseous magma that is highly viscous and travels very short distances. These three types of volcanoes that occupy the earth have seemingly different physical characteristics and behavioral changes. A volcanic eruption is one of the most dangerous and eventful natural disasters that can take place. During these eruptions, several factors are taken into account. Each type of volcano discussed above has a different form of lava: one's might be highly fluid and the other might be very viscous. Lava can take many shapes as it is extruded from a volcano. One such form is that of pahoehoe. Usually common on the Hawaiian volcanoes, pahoehoe is a form of lava which is smooth and ropy and causes by the congealment of lava as it is released from the volcano (Williams, 32). Another form of lava is one that is named aa. This lava consists of jumbles of rough, clinkery, and spinose fragments, ranging from small chips to blocks measuring meters on a side (Williams, 37). Aa flows are cool and thick and can advance at rates between 5 and 50 meters per hour (Tarbuck, 145). Lava can also take a block formation Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 4. Liberal Arts Education Essay A liberal arts education is one that, by definition, focuses not on one specific subject, but rather prepares its student by giving them knowledge in many areas and developing the student's critical thinking that will allow them to adapt to an ever–changing world. Naturally, this means students at a university that employs a liberal arts education take classes outside their major. Students of the humanities or social sciences must enroll in courses of mathematics and natural sciences, and while many find no joy in such requirements, they better the individual and are helpful in everyday life, as well as in larger issues. As Crane and Chiles so eloquently write, specifically of science, "Science matters at a liberal–arts university because the problems facing our global community will not be solved by scientists alone." Mathematics as a subject acts in a similar way, giving skills to students, non–mathematics majors included, to help in their everyday lives or potentially to help the world. ...show more content... To do that, Chopp argues that "What you have to do is to learn the very tools of learning itself. The liberal arts are...the gold standard for that" (qtd. in Goral). Students, particularly those in the humanities and social sciences, are thus offered different methods of learning when classes stretch beyond their major. As is an essential part of a liberal arts education, this breadth of knowledge enhances the critical and intellectual thinking of students that otherwise might not have had the opportunity to do so. The creativity and pursuit of knowledge encouraged by non–STEM majors has much to offer to solve the problems of the world, and a basic understanding of mathematics and sciences means that these problems seem much more understandable, their solutions more Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. International Students Essay example Differences between American Students and International Students Most young people believe that studying in a different country is a privilege because they are able to experience other cultures, and learn from them. However, in the United States it is not as good as they thought because International students have much more pressure being in this country, and sometimes they cannot handle it very well. Therefore, in the United States the life of an international student is very unfavorable if people compare it to the life of an American student. International students have to learn a new language to study, they cannot work while studying, and their tuition is much more expensive. When people moves to the United Stated to study they...show more content... They know their structure and have a very superior vocabulary, so they can compose excellent essays. In addition, since American students speak English very well, they do not have any problem participating in class. They have confidence in themselves, so they will not be afraid of saying something wrong. Consequently, because American students do not have to learn any language to study their mayor, it is much easier for them to achieve excellent grades. Most university students feel the necessity of working since they would like to have their own money in order to be independent from their parents. It is not the exception for International students because they also feel the necessity of working to be independent from their parents or whoever is responsible for them. However, for international students to work in the United States it is very difficult because they are only allowed to work on campus. These kinds of jobs are very limited since some of the campuses in which they study are very small. Also for an international student to find a job on campus is difficult because people prefer to employee an American student who is not going to have any problem speaking the language. For example, last semester a friend from Venezuela who is studying at Miami Dade College decided that he wanted to get a job in order to have his own money. (Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2009) Coronary Artery Disease obstructs the blood flow in vessels that provides blood to the heart which is caused by the buildup of plaque on the artery walls. (Rogers, 2011, p.87) (Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2009) Plaque is a yellow substance that consists of fat substances, like cholesterol, and narrows or clogs the arteries which prevents blood flow. (Mayo Clinic, 2013) Some surgical procedures used to treat CAD are angioplasty and coronary artery bypass surgery. (Mayo Clinic, 2013) The angioplasty surgery is when your doctor inserts a catheter to the blockage in the artery and threads the wire through the narrowed arteries. (Opening blocked coronary arteries: New questions about the old answer, nd., p.2) Once the balloon is in place, at the sight of the blockage, the balloon inflates which causes the plaque to crack and the artery to become free from blockage. (Opening blocked coronary arteries: New questions about the old answer, nd., p.2) The other surgical opinion for CAD is coronary artery bypass surgery is a procedure done by a doctor using a graft. (Mayo Clinic, 2013) The doctor will construct a graft to direct the blood flow around the blockage using existing blood vessels in the body. (Mayo Clinic, 2013) Due to the fact that this procedure requires open heart surgery, it is usually used for patients with several partial or full blockages. (Mayo Clinic, 2013) Coronary Artery Disease can be prevented by controlling your blood pressure, diabetes and blood cholesterol. • 7. THE SEVEN ARMY VALUES Essay In the United States Army we are taught to live by the Seven Army Values. They are broken down to us in the acronym 'LDRSHIP' which is short for Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity and Personal Courage. We are all taught these 7 Army values repeatedly from day one in the United States Army. First we memorize these values. Then we are trained to live by them. All of these 7 values coincide with each other, and play an important roll in our Army lives. These 7 Army Values also play well into life outside the Army in our personal life. Every soldier is responsible for treating other people with dignity and respect. As Soldiers we pledge to treat others with respect and dignity while not expecting anything in return. Respect allows us to appreciate what our Army leaders and Friends do for us. Respect is to have trust that people will fulfill their duties and accomplish what is expected of them. Respecting ones self is an important factor of the Army value of respect. We, the United States Army are one team and we each have something to contribute. What is respect? Respect has numerous forms. It can be self–awareness, character, understanding, trust, honesty, and a positive attitude. Respect must be earned. If someone does not respect himself or herself then they are not able to respect others. To gain respect you must treat others the way you would want to be treated, as you have heard many times before. If a unit lacks respect it cannot have teamwork and sympathy for the well being of others. It creates devotion to the success of the team. Respect goes both ways up and down the chain of command. A leader must respect his or her soldiers as their soldiers must appreciate the sacrifices and skills their superiors and vice versa. by respecting the people around you with effort, and in time soldiers come to respect each other. • 9. Reflection Of Expository Writing Erwyn Suruy December 9, 2017 Eng 111 Reflective Essay I have been taking Expository Writing for 4 months. I have found that I need to be able to communicate myself in writing. I must relay exactly what I'm trying to put forth to others and convey the right message of understanding. I must be able to explain myself, negotiate, and work in teams. My language skills can be worked on and improved. I need to be able to pick up the language of whatever environment I'm in whether it be at work or school, or in society. Since everyone does not have the same background, learning how to write the written word is important in any environment. I have learned how to write and express myself, how to think for myself, and how to find answers to things I do not know. Most important I have learned how to believe in my writing. I was very hesitant in taking this English class, I have not taken an English class in many years. When I took the placement test for reading and English, I tested out of all categories. I was proud of myself for that feat. When I found I was going to have to take a college level English class, I avoided it at all costs. Too much pressure. However, I have learned about the Rhetorical Essay was to understand how an author writes and not focus on what the content is. Knowing the explanation of what techniques and author uses to make their point come across to the intended audience. I learned about Argumentative Research Paper is to debate both sides of an issue. The intent is to be unbiased and state the facts on either side. I learned about Public Piece with Presentation is meant to deliver an effective presentation to engage your audience. Your audience listens to not only what you are saying but your visual engagement in the topic being presented. Also, the point of the class is to be able to work with others to achieve a desired outcome or task. To know that I can work with others in a cohesive environment to draw on everyone's input and views. This will assist me in the real work of life and assist in handling many types of people and myself in communicating. I have never been a good writer; however, I have learned that communication is not the same when writing. Having a conversation about aliens Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 14. Cookies Essay Ice cream, cookies, cake , candy, or just plain chocolate–whatever it is, we all have our vices. Mine are cookies. Specifically, thick, soft, buttery cookies like what you might find in a bakery, and one of my favorites are snickerdoodles. They're a classic, right up there with chocolate chip, sugar, peanut butter, or oatmeal raisin cookies. And you know what? You don't even have to go out and buy them. You can make them at home, and I can show you how. Regardless if you're cooking or baking, the first thing you should do is read the recipe you're following. You want to make sure that you not only have the ingredients on hand, but enough to make the recipe. Secondly, you need to consider how many people you're serving. Do you wat a small...show more content... This serves a couple purposes: the sugar is distributed throughout the butter, and allows it to dissolve into the butter. Additionally, as you beat the butter and sugar together, you're incorporating air into the batter, giving our cookies a lighter, fluffy texture. The air pockets in the cookie dough are poor heat conductors, meaning that they help insulate the dough and slow down the rate that the butter and sugar melt (Parks). Ideally, butter that's room temperature should be used for this process. It's not only easier to mix, but there's a science behind it. Butter that's too cold doesn't mix well and doesn't get enough air bubbles. Using melted butter will get air bubbles in the batter, but will collapse and make the cookies thin (Robbins). After the sugar and butter have been beaten into a fluffy paste, add the eggs and mix well. In a separate medium sized bowl, you add the dry ingredients: 2 Вѕ cups flour, 2 tsp. Cream of tartar, 1 tsp. Baking soda, and ВЅ tsp. Salt. These are whisked together and mixed separately. When you mix the dry ingredients separately, you ensure that the soda, salt, and cream of tartar are evenly distributed. Mixing wet and dry ingredients separately allows each set to be mixed thoroughly on its own and combined together with little mixing. In most cases overmixing creates a tough texture. Dry ingredients should be added gradually. After the dough is mixed, you need to let it rest and chill in Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. Expository Writing Rough Draft On School Kirk Zimmer Expository Writing Rough Draft Everything Wrong With School In 10 Minutes or Less! When I was twelve, I had no appreciation for school. I saw it as nothing more as a glorified daycare center with all the rules and regulations specifically designed to restrict as much fun as possible. Then one day in the ninth grade, I had a revelation: what if school was actually meant to build me up with knowledge and facts and not just waste my time? This was the foundation I needed to get me through the next four years. Whenever I was bored, I would remind myself that I 'd never have a "free" education like this again. I adapted particularly well to this system of tests, quizzes, and science labs but I could never understand the hang up some people had with it. School was basic and easy and all it seemed to require was consistency an+d proper scheduling. I looked at people who couldn 't understand US History or Geometry and I thought they were dumb. It wasn 't until much later with much more reflection that I came to conclude there 's a difference between how you score on the SATs and how smart you actually are. Education isn 't necessarily a direct line to becoming intelligent and knowledgeable; education is nothing more than an institution designed to equip people with subsets of specialized processing methodologies, algorithms, and a fair bit of esoteric trivia. Furthermore, the current educational system in place is inefficient because of its rigid nature. The current Get more content on HelpWriting.net

Doctors usually prescribe a combination of antibiotics, such as ceftriaxone and doxycycline or azithromycin, which will treat both diseases. Serious complications can result, however, when left untreated. In untreated gonorrhea infections, the bacteria can spread up into the reproductive tract, or more rarely, can spread through the blood stream and infect the joints, heart valves, or the brain. The most common result of untreated gonorrhea is PID, a serious infection of the female reproductive organs. Gonococcal PID often appears immediately after the menstrual period. PID causes scar tissue to form in the fallopian tubes. If the tube is only partially scarred, the fertilized egg cannot pass into the uterus. If this happens, the embryo may implant in the tube causing a tubal pregnancy. This serious complication results in a miscarriage and can cause death of the mother. Rarely, untreated gonorrhea can spread through the blood to the joints. Gonorrhea is treated with antibiotic drugs taken orally or by an injection. All partners must be treated. Treatment during the early stages is usually 100 percent effective. It is important that all of the antibiotics are taken as prescribed, and that the infected people refrain from sexual intercourse during treatment. Proper hand washing is essential.
