“Whites” of the eye are more of a 2 value
Don’t forget the tear duct.

Notice how much of the circle of
                            the iris is visible.
Draw a vertical line across the top third of the page.
Measure the slant of your eye.Your tear duct and the corner
of your eye rarely line up on a vertical line.
Don’t forget the lower lid needs to remain visible. Keep the value
of the white of the eye at around 2 especially under the lid.
Look for the angle and width of the upper lid when your eye
is open Notice where the light falls – on your upper eye lid.
The shadow will be on your eye ridge below your brow.
Measure the height of your pupil. Use it as your unit of measure.
Measure how many pupils high your brow is above your pupil.
Where does the arch of your brow change according to your
                          eye?
Lightly sketch in where your brow will go. Save that detail for
later!
Use your white chalk to create the light highlights on your
pupil. Don’t turn yourself manga! Also look for the liquid lines
at the edges of your eyes and around your tear ducts.
Measure how many “eye”s across your
           other eye is.
Lightly draw where your eye should be. Make
sure you include the opposite slant of your eye.
Leave your brows for later. Eyelashes grow from the
outer rim of your eyelid. Pay close attention to the
shadows between your eyes. They will begin your nose.
