  1. How many of the companies represented today have published on their website “employee are our greatest asset?” How many companies conduct an annual employee engagement survey? Employee engagement is flat – despite all of this technology Productivity is flat – or maybe even declining – despite all of this technology Companies are going through change – and who will lead it?
  2. Does anyone disagree with this statement? HR is going through a great deal of change – from an administrative function to the MOST IMPORTANT DEPARTMENT Guess what department will have the greatest impact on the growth and profitability of a company in the knowledge economy? Would most sr. staff agree with this? Are we talking about what a company looks like in the knowledge economy or are we assuming the models we created 100 years ago with the industrial revolution will not change?
  3. We are a hyper connected culture. We are bionic Who here watched the bionic man or the bionic woman growing up? How many companies use mobile technology as their primary source of communication with employees? How many ban the use of personal devices at work? 60% of millenials… CHANGE READY ORGANIZATIONS
  4. Company to People: Company news and general updates – primary use of the Intranet System to People: Communication and tools about process and work People to People: Personal stories, team building and camaraderie, humanizing leadership and giving people a voice, - in other words, engagement, culture. Which of these channels will have the greatest impact on culture? Team building? Retention? Collaboration? Engagement? Productivity? Imagine a company that understood how to leverage each one of these channels… A company that instead of an annual engagement survey used real time intelligence on engagement and sentiment… a company that gave everyone a voice, regardless of location or job function. How would a company like that perform? Data suggests 200% - 400% better, 7 times better retention and 500% more productive. Don’t think HR is the most important department?
