  1. Presenter Notes State-- This slide shows the simplified concept map of concept mapping presented earlier (refer participants to hand-out) . . . State-- Remember, the type of concept maps used in the knowledge-based teaching model are called propositional concept maps . . . These are the kinds of concept maps you will learn to construct in this session . . . Notes and guidelines-- Walk through the concept map, start at the top and then left to right . . .read some of the sentences formed by the concepts and links in the map . . . As you do so, point out that the map is hierarchical with core concepts (big ideas) on the top . . . and that links between concepts are selected to form sentences (or propositions) . . .
