If you are unclear as to what the best bodybuilding plan is for you, there are many great resources online that even include one on one coaching for you to begin with Proper nutrition – Without proper nutrition all your hard work will go to waste. Creating a well balanced diet for your needs will go a long way. Try and consume 5 to 6 small meals per day rather than the usual 3 larger meals. Maintain a good balance of proteins and carbohydrates in your diet as healthy muscle gain required both. Also stay very hydrated as water is critical to your metabolic process. Keep it in proportion – When trying to put on muscle and achieve that all round toned look, be sure to work all your muscles every week using a variety of different exercises.
3. 5 tips for any weightlifting routine Don’t overtrain – Try not to work the same muscle group everyday. Instead aim for 1-2 times per week per muscle group. As a general rule of thumb, if your muscle is sore don’t work it, exercise a different muscle group. Get plenty of rest – Despite common misconceptions, your muscles do not grow in the gym, they repair when you are resting. So it is also good practice to take a couple days off per week just to let your muscles heal and grow. After all that is what you’re trying to accomplish! ;-) If you’re really serious about developing a toned physique in a healthy manner I highly recommend you check this video out here. I personally use this program and I can only give it my highest recommendation. Once again, here’s the video. Enjoy!
