Studyguide for UKM FK6193 Advanced Statistics

1. MASTER OF COMMUNITY HEALTH
ADVANCED BIOSTATISTICS (FK6193)
This course is the continuation of the basic medical statistics course. In the advanced
course, we will cover further aspect of categorical data analysis, one way and two way
ANOVA, multiple regression, discriminate analysis, logistic regression and co-variance
analysis. The course will be conducted with 2 hours lecture per week and 2 hours
practical session per week. I will book the computer room at the 5 th floor of the academic
block for all the practical sessions.

2. LOCATION
All lectures will be conducted at Dept. of Community Health, Level 1, Faculty of
Medicine, UKM, Jln Yaacob Latif, Cheras, 56000 Kuala Lumpur. The practical sessions
will be conducted at the computer room at the 5th floor of the academic block.
