1. Requirementsand Getting Started
This program begins in August 2017 and
continues for 2 semesters. You will take
courses in your major as well as
academic English courses to help you
build your confidence in the classroom.
To be accepted into the program your
TOEFL score should be 64 or above on
the iBT,or 5.5 on the IELTS. If you
haven’t already applied, you should

International Pathways Program
La Salle University
La Salle University’s International
Pathways program provides
academically qualified
international students who still need
English training FULL admission to La
Salle University. The program
includes tutoring, culture
adjustment, and integration into
campus life. Our program helps
your prepare for degree-level study
at La Salle.
Program Description
You will receive one-on-one
tutoring each week, along with
academic advising, group study
sessions, and meetings with the
Director of the program throughout
the first year.

Note: Over 80% of international students who enter the International Pathways program receive scholarships.
Applying is free and if you qualify, you will receive your scholarship award with your undergraduate Pathways
acceptance letter.
Do I need TOEFL / IELTS or SAT scores?
TOEFL or IELTS are required, and your official high school transcript. For the best scholarship
consideration we recommend you submit your SAT scores, if taken. SAT is not required, but
does increase the chances you will get a quality scholarship.
Is there a deadline to apply?
Please apply early as the deadline for applications is July 15th, 2017. Apply at:

What if my TOEFL or IELTS does not meet the entry requirements?
Students who do not meet the requirements can still apply to the Pathways program. If
accepted, you will be required to successfully complete Level 5 of our English Language
Institute (ELI)before beginning the International Pathways program. Applying is free, please
visit the ELI website at: www.lasalle.edu/ELI
