1. CEIP DELS PALLARESOS

2. CEIP dels Pallaresos is placed in Els Pallaresos, a small village 8 km far from Tarragona, in Catalonia (Spain). The village has about 2550 inhabitants. Due the population growth, there are two schools in the village.

3. Our school has been created two years ago and, for now, we are in a provisional place. In a short time, it will begin to construct the definitive school.

4. The school offers Pre-primary education, which begins at the age of 3 to 6, and Primary education, beginning at the age of 6 to 12. As mentioned previously, our school started two years ago, and the older students in that moment are 7 - 8 years old. They are on the 2nd course of Primary Education. CEIP dels Pallaresos there are 81 students. The number of teachers are 12, and we are divided as follows:

10. NEDA-QUE-NEDA CLASS 2nd course TEACHER: LAIA LL. She is the Music teacher too.

11. GISANE SUSANA Susana is the head teacher, and also teaches Spanish and Arts on 1st and 2nd of Primary Education. Gisane is the secretary of the school and psychomotricity teacher at Pre-primary Education.

12. PACO MARTA Paco is the Physical education and psychomotricity teacher. Marta is the Special Education teacher, and she also gives support at Pre-primary and Primary Education.

13. HELDER NÚRIA Helder is the teacher of religion Núria is the clerk of the school.

14. The school has a psychomotricity class, an special education class, a dinning hall and a big playground. Dinning room Psychomotricity class Playground Special education class

15. The AMPA, Association of parents of pupils, organises different extra-curricular activities. They take place when the school finishes. These activities are: theatre, sports, English, music and dances. Besides, AMPA also helps us in all activities that we propose from the school, how it is this comenius project.

THE SCHOOL IS INVOLVED ON DIFFERENT PROJECTS - The Comenius Project : “We are in the same team” - Coeducation Project , wich aim is to promote respect for the differences and no-sexist attitudes, breaking with social stereotypes. - Healthy breakfast , which aim is to promote good breakfast habits.

17. - “ You are an artist, you exhibits at MAMT ” (Modern Art Museum, Tarragona), that consists of encourage Art Education on children. - We work for projects! . Catalan and Science are worked together with projects. The starting point is the students’ interest, and publishers are not used. Personal autonomy and problem-solving strategies are fostered. The involement of families is very important because they should help students to look for information and answers.
