3. Game 1 Each player chooses a stick from the cup. The student with the largest number wins and keeps both sticks. Play until one student has all of the sticks.
4. Game 2 Each player chooses 2 sticks The students then without looking decide on an operation such as multiplying, adding, subtracting, or dividing. They would then perform the operation and the student with the highest total wins that hand and collects the sticks. Play until one student has all of the sticks.
5. Game 3 Ask each student to draw a specific amount of sticks and then asking them to use place value to form the largest or smallest number with the sticks they drew. Take turns creating both smallest and largest numbers.
