• Immigrants are good for the labour market
• In the moment the Germans are very career-
orientated
• Family gets more unimportant

• Number of full-time-jobs decreased
• Some people have many part-time-jobs
– So the statistics are not exact!

• Most people work in the service sector
– In 2014 plus 324000 people
• Fewest people work in agrigulture, forestry and
fishing
– In 2014 plus 10000 people
• Increase of the number in each sector!

11. Situation of women at the labour market
Erasmus +
• 68% of women between 15 and 64 years work
• From these women 45% in part-time-jobs
because of their family
• Their wage is 20% less than the wage of men
• Only 20% of women are in leadership
15. The reasons for this changes
• Germany´s education and employment system
for young workers
• German policies (during a crisis): encourage
employers to reduce working hours rather than
fire workers.
17. Unemployment rate in 2015
• Unemployment rate hit the record low in June 2015
(6,2%)
Lowest level since December 1991
• In October many young people aren´t registered as
unemployed anymore (school starts again)
• Unemployment will probably increase in 2016 again
