comparativos y superlativos )
• Los monosílabas y bisílabos se les agrega “er” para ser comparativos y “ the -
est” para ser superlativos. P.e. big – bigger– the biggest ( grande - más grande –
el más grande ).
• Los adjetivos con más de dos silabas usan more para ser comparativos y the most
para ser superlativos .p.e. beautiful – more beautiful – most beautiful ( hermoso –
más hermoso – el más hermoso).
• los adjetivos que terminan con vocal seguida de una consonante duplican la
consonante final antes de agregar las terminaciones “er” p.e. Big – bigger – the
biggest ( grande- más grande- el más grande ).
• Los adjetivos de dos silabas que terminan en “y” podrán terminar en “er” y se
debe cambiar “y” por “I” P.e. Noisy - Noi s i er
• los comparativos irregulares cambian totalmente p.e. good – better – the best
