GO GROW and GLOW We had an expert called Dr Ali come in and teach us about GO GROW and GLOW. We learnt that GO foods are carbohydrates and give us energy, GROW foods are protein and they help us to grow, and GLOW foods are vegetables and minerals and these help to light the sparkle inside us. After Dr Ali taught us all about the foods that make GO, GROW and GLOW we played a game to sort food cards into the three categories and all got them correct.

We can tell if we are glowing because we have shiny hair and sparkling eyes!

3. After Dr Ali taught us all about the foods that make GO, GROW and GLOW we played a game. We had a pile of food cards/plastic foods and had to sort them into the three different categories. We worked as team and all got them correct. Look at us working hard!
