Julius Caesar and Augustus

   Born September 23rd 63 BC- August 19th 14 BC

   Born with the name Gaius Octavius Thurimus

   Then officially named Gaius Julius Caesar

   In 27 BC the Senate awarded him with the
    name Augustus
 In43 BC, Octavian joined forces with Mark
  Anthony and Marcus Aemilius Lepidus

 As   a triumvir Octavian ruled Rome

 The  triumvirate was eventually torn apart
  under the competing ambitions of its
  rulers
Romulus and Remus

  Twin   sons of Rhea Silvia and Mars

  Romulus  killed Remus and became the
  sole ruler if the new Rome

  The   Sabines agreed to accept Romulus
Hadrian
  Was   born in Rome in the year 76 AD



  Hadrian’s
           Father’s was a cousin of the
  emperor “Trajan”



  Trajan
       died in 117 AD and Hadrian
  immediately became Emperor
 His   real name is Publius Aelius Hadrianus

 Hewas in a relationship with a man
  named Antonius.

 Hadrian died of illness on July 10, 138 A.D
  at the age of 62 years old.
Cicero
  His   name is Marcus Tullius Cicero

  He    was born January 3, 106 B.C

  He    was sometime know as “Tully”
 Hewas a wonderful speaker, when he
 spoke people would listen.

 Hedied by assassins on December 7th, 43
 BC.

 He
   was a roman Philosopher, statesman
 and lawyer
Hannibal and the
Carthaginian Wars
 He   was born in 247 BC.

 He   died in 183 BC.

 At
   the age of 9 Hannibal vowed eternal
 hatred toward Rome.
 Within 2 years Hannibal had conquered
 all of Spain between the
