Invest in Cluster Excellence
The objective is to strengthen the management
capabilities of European cluster organisations
• First call for proposals Q1 2014 for 30 months, €1M
• Second call for proposals Q1 2017 for 30 months, €1M
• Co-funding from Structural Funds is envisaged
Aimed at improving their management and
market analysis capacities to help them provide
top quality services to SMEs.
The European Cluster Excellence Programme The objective is to strengthen the management capabilities of European cluster organisations in view to develop more world class clusters in Europe that are able to offer excellent support services to European SMEs. The action will be addressed to consortia of cluster organisations from COSME participating countries engaged into strategic collaboration around a joint industrial project or other business activities addressing specific challenges. The action will help the involved cluster organisations to improve their management and market analysis capacities as well as to provide top quality services to local SMEs on specific topics including the integration of creativity into business, the development of international activities, the use of Key Enabling Technologies (KETs), and the adoption of resource-efficiency practices. First call for proposals Q1 2014 for 30 months, 1M. Second call for proposals Q1 2017 for 30 months, 1M. Co-funding from Structural funds can/should be envisaged by the future applicants to be able to engage more cluster organisations into the proposals.
