Location + CLIMATE data
Pittsburgh falls under climatezone 5A as per IECC 2012
and has 5986 Heating Degree Days and 654 Cooling
Degree Days. This makes it a predominantly cold climate
region. With these climatic conditions, the design
emphasis is to maximize the thermal performance of the
 building envelope.
