This is the document containing the feedback we received for the Rough Cut of our Music Video.

1. Rough Cut Feedback
Nicola
1. She really liked the overall effect of the tour footage and the idea of integrating
the tour footage with the performance footage
2. One of the main pieces of constructive feedback that she gave was to suggest
that we started with performance footage as she felt that gave way to a more
conventional start
3. She also suggested that we gathered more footage of the band performing the
song and integrated that footage among the performing footage that we had for
the sake of variation.
4. She really liked the song choice and thought that that matched the concept
really well.
5. The final piece of feedback Nicola gave was to suggest that we used different
angles and positions to film the band performing the song as she suggested that
the few angles we do use in our rough cut can get a bit repetitive throughout the
piece.
Al
1. Al really enjoyed the concept of our video and praised the initial idea
2. He also said that some of the shots we had used such as the final shot of the
piece with the band in silhouette in front of the sunset looked very creative and
professional
3. He suggested that we have some more performance footage integrated
throughout the music video
4. Al also said that he liked the track choice
5. The final piece of feedback we received suggested that we could shorten the
length of some of the shots in the middle, as some of them were over the
suggested 2-3 seconds in length.
Peers
After showing our teachers and our peers our rough cut they have given us some
good feedback which allows us to not only see the strongest elements of our music
video, but also gives us the opportunity to improve the weaker features of our video.

2. 1. The most significant feedback we received from our peers was that they really
liked the concept and the way in which we had filmed the footage to make it
look like tour videos.
2. They also said that some of the shots were too long, making this a high priority
of things to fix.
3. Another piece of feedback they gave us was a suggestion that we should play
with adding certain effects like gels for example to our video to make it more
unusual.
4. They also confirmed the feedback given by Nicola in terms of interspersing
some more performance based footage throughout the video.
5. They also liked the song choice and the overall idea of the piece, and one peer
member said that she liked not only the footage we had gathered but also the
way we had arranged the footage.
