“Wings of the Future”
Chicago was celebrating its 100th
birthday and hosting the World’s Fair.
July 10th was designated as “Tri Sigma
Sorority Day” at the World’s Fair, and
convention attendees visited the
exhibition as a group that day.

James Miller Leake was invited to
attend the 22nd Convention but was
unable to do so due to his health. In
lieu of his attendance, he sent a letter
to Mabel Lee Walton, to be read to
attendees during the convention.
