Explaining about my photo shoot and the health and safety hazard which is involved with it.

2. ARE THERE ANY POTENTIAL HAZARDS THAT
COULD POSE A HEALTH AND SAFETY RISK
WHERE YOUR PHOTO SHOOT WILL TAKE PLACE?
There could be potential hazards where I want to take my
photo shoot at as I want to take it in the city so there would
be traffic around but that is all that could be a potential
hazard as there would be no other objects around that could
be dangerous to me and my model.
Yes, definitely, I will try to make sure I take the images where
there are no traffic at all and they are kind of in a public place
like a train station or like a back street to kind of get that
urban look.
WHAT WILL YOU DO TO ENSURE THESE RISKS
ARE MINIMISED?

3. WILL THE TIME OF DAY/WEATHER AFFECT THE
OUTCOME OF THE PHOTOS? HAVE YOU
ALLOWED FOR THIS?
I’ve thought of taking my images during the day and also I feel
like I want to take them with the sun setting because the
background to that will be very nice and I want to get my
images the best possible that I can get.
Yes, I have thought about this. I want to be able to take my
photographs in a public place like a train station or an
underground place where it has that kind of urban look. I also
feel like I want to take the photographs in a backstreet and have
my model sitting on the stairs, I just feel like with me doing that
my photographs will look really good high definition.
HAVE YOU CONSIDERED THE BACKGROUND TO
YOUR PHOTOS, PARTICULARLY IF TAKEN
OUTSIDE? HOW WILL YOU ENSURE YOU WILL
GET THE BACKGROUND YOU WANT?

4. HAVE YOU CONSIDERED LIGHTING? WHAT ABOUT
THE ‘PROBLEMS’ OF NATURAL LIGHTING, EITHER
OUTSIDE, OR STREAMING THROUGH A WINDOW?
WILL YOU NEED TO USE A FLASH? HAVE YOU
CONSIDERED REFLECTIVE OBJECTS THAT MIGHT
SPOIL THE EFFECT.
I have thought of doing both high key and low key lighting just because
I want to get a range of images to be able to have on my magazine so
they aren’t just the same images throughout the magazine. I will be
using natural light and also be using a flash because with them I can
decide which images I like the best by having different effects from the
images.
No, I don’t think I will have to ask about taking the images where I want
them taking because I want my images in a public place so I will not be
braking the law by taking images in the backstreet.
DO YOU NEED PERMISSION TO TAKE PHOTOS IN
THE PLACE/VENUE YOU HAVE IN MIND?

5. DO YOU NEED TO BOOK TIME IN A ROOM?
No I do not, I have thought about this and I don’t want my
images in a studio.
I do not want crowds in my magazine that is why I will be
going into a backstreet and when I am in the train station I
will be trying my best to not be able to get a crowd in my
photograph. However if I do, its not the biggest problem
when it comes to taking my images.
ARE OTHER PEOPLE/CROWDS LIKELY TO BE AN
ISSUE FOR YOU? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO
ENSURE THAT IT WILL NOT SPOIL THE
EFFECT?

6. ARE YOU RELIANT ON LIFTS/PROPS/FRIENDS
EQUIPMENT/MODELS? HOW HAVE YOU
PLANNED THAT THESE THINGS WILL COME
TOGETHER AT THE APPOINTED TIME? PLAN B?
I have thought all about this. With my model it will be my friends
so I can just be able to get the metro through to the city where I
want to take my images. If this does not work I will be able to
drive to somewhere closer, so it is no problem if something
does not work out for me.
I have thought of everything that I could do to get the images
that I want to be able to get. I want them as high definition as
possible so I can get a lot for them. With a magazine I feel like
the photograph means the most because it brings in the
audience to want to read it.
