KICK OFF MEETING
The Kick-Off Meeting gets us started; it introduces the project team, confirms
the overall purpose and objectives of the project, determines the roles and
responsibilities of the team members, and establishes ground rules for
working together. The most important purpose is to get commitment to the
scope and objectives of the project.
The kickoff meeting for a new project is your best opportunity to energize the
group and establish a common purpose toward completing the work.
A kickoff meeting is the first meeting with the project team and the client of
the project.
This meeting introduces the members of the project team and the client and
provides the opportunity to discuss the role of team member.
There is a special discussion on the legalities involved in the project
7
OBJECTIVE
• Provide Equal Access and Flexibility
• History of Accessible Facility Design
• Beyond Accessibility to Universal Design
• To develop the management, quality and try to utilize they qualification about this
subject.
• Increasing good communication skill of any project work as a project manager.
8
Utilize Cost Management Throughout
Planning
Design and
Development Process
Consider Non-Monetary
Benefits Such As
Aesthetics
Historic Preservation
Security and
Safety
COST-EFFETHETICS:
9
Initial budget :
Initial budge depends on
Building Size
Building Cost
Building Type
10
FUNCTIONAL/OPERATIONAL:
• Account for Functional Needs.
• Ensure Appropriate Product/Systems
Integration.
• Meet Performance Objectives.
AESTHETICS:
Pertains to the physical appearance and image of building
elements and spaces as well as the integrated design process.
11
PRODUCTIVE:
• Assure Reliable Systems and Spaces
• Promote Health and Well-Being
• Provide Comfortable Environments
SECURE/ SAFE:
• Fire Protection
• Occupant Safety and Health
• Natural Hazards and Security
12
SUSTAINABLE:
The main objectives of sustainable design are to reduce, or completely avoid depletion
of critical resources like energy, water, and raw materials, prevent environmental
degradation caused by facilities and infrastructure throughout their life cycle; and
create built environments that are livable, comfortable, safe, and productive.
LOCATION:
This project building is situated in uttara model town at Dhaka district. It is very close
to the main road.

ESTIMATION:
• Estimate ore building based on required materials in cubic feet.
• This is approximate estimation.
• It is done only for giving primary idea to the owner, how much material
may be required for build this six story building.
• Some extra materials may be required. And many other equipment may
be needed in future those are not included here.
• they have done this estimate by finding total volume of specific
material then calculate the volume of cement, sand, aggregate by its
ratio.

SCHEDULE
The project schedule is the tool that communicates what work needs to be performed, which
resources of the organization will perform the work and the timeframes in which that work needs
to be performed.
Schedule Benefits:
• The project schedule should reflect all of the work associated with delivering the project on time.
• Without a full and complete schedule, the project manager will be unable to communicate the
complete effort, in terms of cost and resource, necessary to deliver the project.
• They have shown all information which helped for everyone understand in this part they have tried to
mention that when there are started this work and how many times to spend to complete the project
work.
• How many labor needed of their overall project work.
• Time is the main fact in scheduling when their owner has been given that project and how long time
needed to complete that work. 19
Gantt Chart
Examples for construction projects are an effective approach to start project management.
Both a commercial building and residential construction Concept Draw PROJECT is a best
software to get started any project. 20
CONCLUSION
The construction site is a place where an engineer can acquire knowledge about a
building project. The construction processes of column, beam, slab and stair have
been learned. Making good communication with people like client, Labours etc.
have been learned also. During the project work unexpected problems
were occurring and how to overcome that problem in that situation have been
learned. By applying theoretical and practical knowledge in construction site, the
real engineering experiences have been acquired.
