2. Street Photography
Street Photography is capturing a spontaneous moment
in a natural environment.
It can also document a public place/event.
Street photography is also a way of capturing the
decisive moment.
This type of photography can capture relationship and
emotions without being staged.

4. Lukas Vasilikos
Born in Crete in 1975, Lukas has been involved in
photography since 2006. His real focus of photography is
street photography.
His style is very atmospheric, some of his work really tells a
story, his use of light and reflections is very professional.
Where as some of his other photographs, I feel, are more for
a comedic effect.
He uses the decisive moment very well to capture some
abstract pictures.
5. Lukas Vasilikos
This photo is titled ‘Dreams’. This is one of Lukas’ more
emotive photographs, it could be interpreted that the man
in the photo is dreaming about the girl through the window. I
think the black and white makes this photo feel more like a
dream.
6. Lukas Vasilikos
Taken in Rome, Italy this photograph emphasises Lukas’ talent for
capturing the decisive moment. As you can see the shadow looks
like it is sitting down on the bench.
10. Edits
I decided to keep the editing of my photo’s to a minimum.
They were all taken on days where the weather was
particularly good and I wouldn’t want to lose the natural
brightness and contrast.
