About Norton City Schools
& Academy of Warren
Norton City School District is a
small, rural district with promising
young scholars in Norton, VA.
Academy of Warren is a small
charter school located in Warren, MI
(a neighboring suburb of Detroit).
Norton’s small town landscape, and
Academy of Warren’s placement
within the Detroit local area make
them amazing youth partners, due
to limited access to activities and
opportunity for career readiness.

4. Business Case Challenge
Volunteers from Stuart Weitzman and students from Norton City Schools & Academy of
Warren participated in a SuitUp business competition in which they created a new, innovative
women's sneaker that is comfortable, trendy and affordable for Stuart Weitzman. Volunteers
coached students in various departments before helping them pitch to judges for a cash prize.
