This is useful for visual and audio learners in the classroom. When students cannot focus and learn through traditional textbooks or lectures, this fun and creative method for learning the story is helpful.
An internet blog, such as this one, allows students to hear opinions on the topics they are learning about from actual fans of the subject. Learning about subjects through a personal way, like an internet blog, helps students connect with the material more and hopefully gain new knowledge about the topic.
Like a video, a podcast allows students to hear the story as it is written, which can be a challenge for some students, especially reading Shakespearean English. Also, students can create images in their heads about what the story would look like as a movie, which will make remembering the plot, characters, and themes easier.
This diagram, using Inspiration, creates a great visual for students to learn about the various aspects of Shakespeare plays, such as themes and characters. It helps students organize the information they have learned into a clear manner and then use it later for a project or an essay. Teachers can create a worksheet using Inspiration and have students fill in the worksheet depending on the subject.
