- Thank you very much. The City of St. Catharines has been a member of the Creative City Network of Canada since 2002, and at my first CCNC conference I was confronted with this notion of cultural asset mapping. As time went by, I started to have a better grasp on what it was, and to appreciate its value. I am sure you’ve had some definition already, but I thought I would share my informal perception of its value and import as a precursor to how we’ve done the work in Niagara
