States (from August 21 de1959)
Its capital is Honolulu on the island of Oahu.
The state occupies most of the Hawaiian
archipelago, the northernmost island group in
Polynesia, in the central Pacific Ocean,
southwest of the continental United States,
southeast of Japan and northeast of Australia.

•The Hawaiian archipelago consists of
eighteen islands and atolls extending over 2400
kilometers. Of these,´8 of them are
considered as "main islands”
