This document describes a traditional winter celebration held annually in January at a small church in Spain. Villagers light large bonfires and have barbecues after pruning branches, believing the fires will ward off evil spirits and disease. The next day, people take their pets and horses on a pilgrimage around the church seven times for protection. The celebration centers around an old solar disc symbol called Netón displayed on a fountain near the unnamed church.
