 Incentive for passing ECA
 Emphasizing ECA during intake and individual meetings
 Ongoing encouragement if they do not pass the first time &
stressing perseverance
 Students that do not level up in reading & math lab after
being enrolled several terms the Coach will discuss work
readiness
 Emphasize the importance of gaining the skills not just
trying to pass the class
 Teachers could offer mock ECA exams
 Teachers could make reference to assignments during class
that will be on ECA (Andy & Nioka do it quite frequently)
