CALL FOR
INTERNATIONAL
DELEGATES
INFORMATION SHEET
Dear
EYPer,
The
call
for
10
international
delegates
for
the
12th
National
Selection
Conference
of
EYP
Austria,
taking
place
from
the
29th
of
April
to
the
2nd
of
May
2011
in
Vienna,
is
now
opened.
The
session
will
gather
around
145
participants
and
will
be
presided
by
miss
Leonie
Goettsch
from
the
Netherlands.
In
accordance
with
the
European
Year
of
Volunteering
2011,
the
theme
of
the
session
is
“Heroes
of
Everyday
Life”.
The
programme
includes
teambuilding
and
Committee
Work
for
one
and
a
half
days
respectively,
followed
by
one
day
of
GA.
You
may
apply
as
an
individual
delegate
as
well
as
in
a
group
of
max.
5
people
and
need
to
be
above
16.
It
is
not
obligatory
to
be
accompanied
by
a
teacher,
however
If
you
plan
to
do
so,
please
take
into
consideration
that
there
will
be
no
programme
for
teachers
provided
by
EYP
Austria.
Participation
Fee
There
will
be
a
participation
fee
of
40
€
which
will
cover
the
accommodation,
food,
all
venues
as
well
as
the
transfer
during
the
session.
Please
keep
in
mind
that
the
travel
to
and
from
Vienna
is
fully
at
your
own
expenses.
Arrival
&
Departure
times
You
are
expected
to
arrive
at
the
accommodation
on
the
29th
of
April
2011
until
12
am
the
latest
and
may
leave
on
the
2nd
of
May
after
the
end
of
the
Closing
Ceremony
at
6
pm.
Selection
Process
All
applications
are
to
be
send
to
vienna2011@eypaustria.org
until
the
27th
of
January
2011
23:59
CET.
Applicants
will
be
informed
individually
about
the
outcome
of
the
selection
process
by
the
2nd
of
Feburary
2011.

2. The
selection
panel
will
consist
of
the
session
President
(Leonie
Goettsch)
and
the
Head
organisers
of
the
session
(Schima
Labitsch
and
Christiane
Kraus).
The
criteria
for
selection
is
the
application
form
and
a
balance
of
nationality
and
gender
within
the
international
delegates.
