The P-i curve was developed after an independent engineering and risk consultant completed a blast assessment and analyzed the results. These assessments were done to qualify the structure for sitting at refineries and chemical processing facilities in accordance with American Petroleum Institute (API) Recommended Practice 756, Management of Hazards Associated with Process Plants Tents (RP-756).
