BRITISH GAS COMPANY
The case study is about the BRITISH GAS COMPANY..
Which is a British owned energy supplier. It was voted
one of the 25 best big companies to work for by the
Sunday times in the UK in 2011 .
Somehow all the organization have employees
working at different levels of responsibility. At the
bottom a business depend on its operative to produce
the products or services.. Means for every employees
there is a specific work or job not other then that.
This case study illustrates the structures that
employees work within and the levels of
responsibility for each role.
British Gas provides employees a challenging work
environment that enables her to get to grips with
real life situations.
The British Gas Company has taught its employees
many transferable skills as well as valuable hands-
on experience.

ANS: According to Fayol, the five key functions of
management are
· Planning
· Organizing
· Commanding
· Coordinating
· Controlling

· Improving best practice
