Creating a brand identity across all three tasks fahmina
Brand identity? Firstly in order to actually create any identity of a brand we have to have a clear and evident link which crossed all three tasks: Colour of fonts Fonts used Photos used Themes etc
In many music videos there are a number of links between the video and the digi-pak or adverts or even the website creating a brand identity. In our case this was created by desaturising all our photos in Photoshop and the use of the way we decreased the saturation levels and increased the contrast in our music video. We also used all clips and shots form our video on the website and also on the digi-pak.  You can also see the clear link between pictures, the video and our lyrics as one lyric states “we felt the blood stop” and on the CD we have created there is Louise holding a glass of blood.  We felt we didn’t have to create any obvious links as the usage of the same pictures from the music video, CD and website was enough to show the audience the brand identity and the connection between all three.
