2. What is it?
The Tenth Commandment states,
"Thou shall not covet your neighbor's
goods." To covet is to want something
so badly you are willing to hurt others
in order to get it.
3. Sins and Solutions
Some things that go against the Tenth
Commandment are:
•Greed- the desire to have more than our fair
share. We must remember that God made us all
equal and wants us to be satisfied with what we
have.
•Envy- to have bad thoughts and/or feelings
toward someone because of what they have.
Just remember that your possessions
don't matter in heaven, but how you
respect others does.
4. Other Things to Know
Justice is giving everybody what they
deserve. Everyone deserves a fair
share of God's creation, because gifts
of the earth belong to eveyone. We
are called to share our material and
spiritual goods.
