 BEIRUT: Maroun Hadad
 It is almost part of the extended areas of «Shikka» and «Anfah» on the coast,
which connects the Lebanese capital, Beirut, Tripoli is the capital of the North
about the only part that has not found investors, not by creeping
urbanization over the past years, may be linked to events that have
repercussions on Lebanon During the past decades.
 With the stabilization of the situation, local investors rushed to the «discovery»
of this waterfront area of the northern stretch of approximately 17 million
square meters of virgin land, used three groups: group MP Mohammed
Safadi, the Group Deputy Maurice Fadel, and a Jacques Sarraf (former
President of the Industrialists Association) to buy about one million square
meters at the beginning of this decade to prepare for the construction of a
huge tourist city be the first of its kind at the store.
 The project design recognizes the owners of the time, but political
circumstances prevented the transition to the stage of project
implementation. the Lebanese returned Tuesday to wash the dust of the
designs, he was Chairman of the Group of ATM, Jacques Sarraf told «Middle
East»: «transactions that had gone into the official circles, and we hope to
    complete very soon.
 He said: «The project will be the largest of its kind in Lebanon and the
region, which will take into account the environmental factor to the
maximum extent, which would extend the length of the front 450 meters,
and includes the city hospital, three hotels, villas, golf course and club.
The importance of this project that is located at a distance of half an
hour from the Casino du Liban and 50 minutes from Cedar Mountain
(the highest mountains of Lebanon), and at a distance of 20 minutes
from the historic city of jbeil, and at a distance of about an hour from
the Lebanese capital. The value is added in this project by the calm and
tranquility reign in the region, clean water and coastal seas, and the
lack of population density ». are caThe ATM «The choice of this northern
coastal region stems from our conviction that the North themselves
capable of developing the region, and provide new job opportunities to
the young people who jammed the immigrant and Abrab.
 With the implementation of the project is between the cities of the coast
between Batroun and Tripoli, the northern has turned fully to the
waterfront tourist, recreational, note that the first tourist project on the
forefront of these was in 1935 (on the shore of Tripoli). With the early
forties Leaving rosary rosaries, even on an occasional to a decree
regulating the northern shores in 1972, which allowed the bridging part
of the maritime spaces in front of the existing tourism projects on the
beach, which encouraged investors to buy real estate large areas in the
region, was set up by the Group of tourism projects which exceeded the
swimming pools and chalets to hotels, even the number of such projects
so far 47 projects involving about 4500 chalet and cabin can
    accommodate about 8 thousand families.
 Preparing company »Noor International«, which is headed by its board of
directors, Dr. Mohamed Saleh, the launch of the »island of Cedar of
Lebanon« off the Lebanese coast, the artificial island of a commercial nature
tourism investment project on the way »Palm Island« in Dubai.
 he company has already launched a special project on the Internet, as well
as the site »Weiss Bock«, in addition to ads on a number of locations varied
    disciplines, and in some newspapers.
 The lecture today by the President of the Board of Directors of the project at
the University of Arts, Science and Technology Jadra.
Has sought »Ambassador« to the survey of the project, some official sources
of information and eligibility, found that it is still on paper and on websites.
 The organizers for preliminary visits to the many officials, particularly the
Minister of Tourism has encouraged the support of the project, according to
the project site on the Internet, which was also announced that it continues
to seek »official approval from the Lebanese authorities«.
Revealed on the official sources, preferred not to name, that those
responsible for the project has not yet appointed a place on the
shore of Lebanon, and that the studies focus on two: either off shore
or off shore Damur Amshit. The final choice depends on the
economic feasibility studies of the depth of the beach, which Srdm,
considering that the more deeply was the beach, where I need
greater amounts of rubble.

The sources add that the company made from the Pentagon, the
Department of geography, the request to determine the most
appropriate location for the construction of the Alorzp on the
Lebanese coast, the area between the south and images Batrun
north, and the file had been handed over to the Ministry of Works
and work with the ministry and with the Foundation to encourage
investment.
 Extend the area of the island assumed a three- Thelatmip million square
meters, according to what is stated, without specifying the depth of the
water. According to sources, » Alorzp island« will be divided into two sections:
the first section involves »trunk« (according to the form of Alorzp), which will
be built hotels, restaurants and markets to be open to all. The second part is
»branches« and »branches« Alorzp, which will be built Alfellat and homes, to
be accessed is limited to landowners. In addition to the commercial markets,
clinics, schools, and specialized centers to receive a water-loving activities.
The transfer of tourists and residents of the island Fissewmn through ad hoc
means of transportation free of the island. Will also be benefiting from the
area under the water for the establishment of the Aquarium and hotel ...
etc.. Also plans for another project might be accompanied by building
»Alorzp«, which involves »industrial city« ensure the various needs of building
the island and the continuation of life.

It is assumed that the marketing of the project is a matter of attracting
investment, and the Lebanese expatriates and immigrants, tourists, and that
it will provide 50 thousand job opportunities for Lebanese youth in various
sectors, with the expectation that this project be completed within three
years after the completion of formalities.
 Such a project is, like another project to bridge the sea in Lebanon
and the world, very dangerous on the terrestrial and marine
environment together. It seems that the architect is trying to project
the tradition of Dubai on the way »palm« and »map of the world«,
because it lived in the Arabian Gulf.
 Is the risk at several levels: it is where the idea of the project will
come in huge quantities very filling, to cover this huge area of the
  project.
 In economic terms, looking for such projects in practice, and after
the selection of places which are easily filled, the search for sources
only two to reduce the cost of the project: either to be destroyed
and the destruction and distortion of the mountains and valleys near
the project area, as happened in the Rdmyat Alillip ( distorted
where thousands of hectares in the text and Antilias River Bsaleem
death and, because of quarry rubble, which provides for the project
(with a reminder that the draft Alillip bridge, the captain of the
 quarry owners and Alexart!) .. or used to be a huge bulldozers Bboakhar
large earth-moving and rock (and life) of the bottom of the sea, and then
compiled in the places to be filled (as in the case of Dubai), and sometimes
    adopt both methods.
 In all cases there is destruction and sabotage of the female in the vicinity of
no return from. The distortions of the mountains, do not return it, and that the
withdrawal of rubble from the bottom of the sea is a devastating double to
the place to be washed, and the places that are supposed to bridge!
 Thus will be the elimination of large areas of marine biodiversity, an area of
more than ten times the same project.
Taking the project to the need also to be a huge wall to protect it from the
waves, this fence, and the same project, detonated by changing trends in
ocean currents This process leads to change the lives of marine organisms
and ecosystems are very dangerous, requires a lot of species, and cause
irreparable damage is not known size, but not impossible in any appreciation
»a study of the environmental impact of the project«, which is expected to
be issued to contribute to the promotion of the project , as usually happens
with marketing campaigns for projects of this kind of sabotage
 Do not forget the damage to the rubble, and changing trends in ocean
currents. It will form Alorzp, water accumulated inside the semi-confined and
stagnant, which would lead to additional problems and damage to marine
life Stlm general, a problem faced by the synthetic Dubai now.
 Competes with this project (as a similar project which was preceded
by: » Snin Zeinah Lebanon«) Adoption of the Council of Ministers of
the scheme of arrangement for guiding the overall land in Lebanon,
which was supposed to put an end to the disorder in the
construction of major projects and distorted anywhere, and at the
expense of anything. Especially on the heads of the mountains,
above the groundwater sources, and on the beach, and on public
property, which is supposed to remain in place for all Lebanese, not
to be the closure of special projects.

From an economic and investment, the sources do not have follow-
up feasibility of the project, which recalls the fate of the draft Alillih
large bridge, which was inaugurated in 1997. Since that date, did
not make investments there, as was expected, also did not provide
the promised jobs, had been forcibly shut down on people.
 The transfer of the mountain to the sea (as trying to
do this project), and the transfer of the city to the
mountain (as in the draft »Snin Zeinah Lebanon«), is
tantamount to sabotage of the nature of Lebanon,
and is not an invention. Filipq rice to the rice, and left
to the Lebanese coast, fishermen, of whom all
    people.
In 1997 fought against a lot of environmental Alillih
Beach bridge, a project to bridge the Matn coast (an
area nine miles from the coast). What was the only
time that the project »avenged« of them, organized
    a festival called the nomination »music environment«
in the 27 July of that year to launch the project. Will
    work some environmental organizations, which
collapsed to a meeting Tuesday to discuss the
matter, to stop the recurrence of the environmental
disaster and swallow the rest of the public domain?
 «Marina Towers» Saudi Lebanese project on the shore of Beirut cost
  of $ 150 million
Sponsored by Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri finally, the
ceremony for laying the foundation stone for the project «Marina
Towers», which is the largest residential project in the center of the
Lebanese capital, which describes a group of investors (including
MP Mohammed al-Safadi, Engineer Khalid Al-Saif Bin Assistant
Chairman of the Group of Saudi Arabia, the sword and businessman
Lebanese atmosphere Muawwad) as the most luxurious residential
project in central Beirut. The President of Hariri in a speech the way
that this project «image of the challenge, which is in the blood of
the Arabs and the Lebanese, despite events in the world after the
atheist of September (September), an model of the blending
between the brothers in the Gulf and among the Lebanese in the
  country».
 The «Marina Towers» one of the most important development
projects that would contribute to the «Beirut to the nature of the
twenty-century atheist» In the words of General Manager of Marina
Towers Farouk Kamal Is the «Marina Towers» area of 7100 square
meters, increasing by the largest residential project at the eastern
shore of the Mediterranean Sea, 150 meters high will be his
appearance at the Marina tourism for the city of Beirut one of the
most important features that would distinguish the Lebanese capital
  in the future.
 The project and its unique architecture and size
apartments distributed on 31 locations in the layer
separating the building by the second author of the 9-
storey beautiful garden area of 3000 square meters and a
total built area 60000 square meters These characteristics
of a draft «Marina Towers» made the investment value of
more than 150 million dollars, has made it the largest
potential of human, technical and consensus to ensure
the success of «visions of some of the biggest trading
houses Saudi Lebanese» In the words of the chairman of
the Marina Towers Khalid Bin Assistant Engineer Al- Saif .
 It was followed by the unveiling ceremony for laying the
foundation stone and the dialogue between journalists
and the director of development of the Marina Towers
project engineer Peter Qatrib and the Executive Director
of the project by Hani Qassim, talked about the
engineering advantages in terms of international
standards of safety and well-being of the environment

Trump: Real estate developer Damac
Properties has teamed up with the ex-wife of
billionaire businessman Donald Trump in a
luxury residential tower project planned for
Lebanon's capital Beirut. The $150 million La
Residence tower will be built at the
intersection of Omar Daouk and Fakhreddine
streets in Beirut's downtown area with a three
year construction period set to start in 2007.

Interior design work on the 27-storey tower's
one to three bedroom apartments, duplexes
and penthouses will be influenced by Ivana
Trump, the former vice-president of interior
design for the Trump Organisation, whose
marriage to the host of TV's The Apprentice
ended in divorce in 1992.

"We are honoured to be endorsed by Ivana
Trump, a world-renowned celebrity who is
considered a symbol of style, glamour and

Damac officials admitted apartments in the La
Residence tower will not be cheap, due to
Beirut's surging land prices, and are targeted
at mid- and high-income end users.

company today. "Land in Beirut is very limited
and the prices have been going up and up,"
said Sofyan Khatib, executive director at

 The Dewatering system is known by the Arab
countries and most of the new projects in Lebanon
have the gulf invest as ownership .
 Dewatering is used in Marina project .
 Most of those projects will be build in marina and
Damour , as we know those sites needs dewatering .
 In Lebanon we only have simple pumps , but it s easy
    to export the equipments needed
 Project in Lebanon 2009 continues in this tradition,
and with the positive momentum in Lebanon and the
region, it will provide the ideal forum for the major
suppliers and their customers to interact and do
business and enjoy the many pleasures Beirut and
    Lebanon have to offer
 There is no competitors in this sector but
outside service could be the main one .
 Lebanese and Arab companies are
investing billions of dollars in the real
estate sector in Beirut and other areas,
  reflecting greater confidence in the
  country
 As we know Lebanon doesn’t been
affected by the crises so most of the Gulf
investments are expected to be moved
in order to build Arab plans in Lebanon.
 The Human Resources are available with
moderate costs (the basic salary is 500$).
 Lebanese Government give facilities and
  to the construction investments.
 There is many investment companies in
Lebanon that could offer facilities and
study for such projects IDAL is a well-known
  example.
 Before most of the Lebanese investors built
  without caring about construction structure
but after they recognize that their buildings
were not be safe to use.(Bchamoun

  • 23.  Such a project is, like another project to bridge the sea in Lebanon and the world, very dangerous on the terrestrial and marine environment together. It seems that the architect is trying to project the tradition of Dubai on the way »palm« and »map of the world«, because it lived in the Arabian Gulf.  Is the risk at several levels: it is where the idea of the project will come in huge quantities very filling, to cover this huge area of the project.  In economic terms, looking for such projects in practice, and after the selection of places which are easily filled, the search for sources only two to reduce the cost of the project: either to be destroyed and the destruction and distortion of the mountains and valleys near the project area, as happened in the Rdmyat Alillip ( distorted where thousands of hectares in the text and Antilias River Bsaleem death and, because of quarry rubble, which provides for the project (with a reminder that the draft Alillip bridge, the captain of the

The distortions of the mountains, do not return it, and that the withdrawal of rubble from the bottom of the sea is a devastating double to the place to be washed, and the places that are supposed to bridge!  Thus will be the elimination of large areas of marine biodiversity, an area of more than ten times the same project. Taking the project to the need also to be a huge wall to protect it from the waves, this fence, and the same project, detonated by changing trends in ocean currents This process leads to change the lives of marine organisms and ecosystems are very dangerous, requires a lot of species, and cause irreparable damage is not known size, but not impossible in any appreciation »a study of the environmental impact of the project«, which is expected to be issued to contribute to the promotion of the project , as usually happens with marketing campaigns for projects of this kind of sabotage  Do not forget the damage to the rubble, and changing trends in ocean currents. It will form Alorzp, water accumulated inside the semi-confined and stagnant, which would lead to additional problems and damage to marine life Stlm general, a problem faced by the synthetic Dubai now.

Competes with this project (as a similar project which was preceded by: » Snin Zeinah Lebanon«) Adoption of the Council of Ministers of the scheme of arrangement for guiding the overall land in Lebanon, which was supposed to put an end to the disorder in the construction of major projects and distorted anywhere, and at the expense of anything. Especially on the heads of the mountains, above the groundwater sources, and on the beach, and on public property, which is supposed to remain in place for all Lebanese, not to be the closure of special projects. From an economic and investment, the sources do not have follow- up feasibility of the project, which recalls the fate of the draft Alillih large bridge, which was inaugurated in 1997. Since that date, did not make investments there, as was expected, also did not provide the promised jobs, had been forcibly shut down on people.
  • 26. The transfer of the mountain to the sea (as trying to do this project), and the transfer of the city to the mountain (as in the draft »Snin Zeinah Lebanon«), is tantamount to sabotage of the nature of Lebanon, and is not an invention. Filipq rice to the rice, and left to the Lebanese coast, fishermen, of whom all people. Will work some environmental organizations, which collapsed to a meeting Tuesday to discuss the matter, to stop the recurrence of the environmental disaster and swallow the rest of the public domain?
