Hand Drawn Draft-Poster
This is my poster for my festival that I have created. I plan to create a poster using
my hand drawn draft as inspiration. I have chosen bold and bright colours such as
blue, pink, purple and green because they are summer colours that represent the
festival overall.

Sound waves festival’s slogan
is “good time, good music,
good memories” this would
imply that each person that is
going to the event will have a
good time and enjoy
themselves. The campaign
message for both my poster
and advert link to my festival
of inspiration which is
wireless. My campaign
message is to bring trust and
performances to the festival
audience. I am going to
encourage viewers by listing
each performer on my poster
and advert in order to
encourage people to come to
the event.

This is my Photoshoot plan where I have
taken the images for the festival.
Festival house style and fonts
Font-within my festival I have chosen a font
from the website DAFONT.COM, I have
particularly chosen the font Prometheus as
it was similar to my festival of inspiration.
Colour scheme-for my festival logo I have chosen the colours blue and black to
feature on the poster and advert as it would link to my festival of Inspiration which is
wireless. I have chosen this particular colours because Wireless festival have also
chosen these colours and I wanted it to look like my festival of inspiration.

Equipment
I have chosen to use a canon camera from John Lewis in order to take the
pictures I wanted to use for the poster and audio-visual advertisement.
The camera is going to cost £1,249.00 as I am going to be taking images
at a good quality.

Risk Assessment – Form
I completed an industry standard risk assessment form before taking pictures for the
festival. I had to look into what to take, transport, camera and lighting, sound and what
the director should use. I had to do a risk assessment before hand because it will make
sure I was protecting myself and the person I was taking pictures of from any risks or
hazards, I have ensured that I have covered all aspects of risks that could happen.

have to gain permission and so I will be able to take the
images at a better quality. I am going to be taking these
image on the 10th of January at 1pm as I think it is a good
time to take them.

I am going to be using long and close up shots within the
images I am going to be taking because I will be able to
capture the quality of the image. I can going to be borrowing a
canon camera from my school to take these images as it
would be more professional. The model is going to be wearing
causal clothing as it is for a festival it is going to be inspired as,
I am going to be using Jessica Blundell as my model because
she has a natural look and she would fit the part.

In order to take pictures of the model, I am going to be
making a permission form which she will have to sign in order
to gain her permission.
Potential Hazards/Risks

Why?
While I am going to be taking images at a friends house, there
are some risks and hazards I will need to take into
consideration before doing so. While taking images there
could be a possibility that I could drop the camera
Legal and ethical
There are legal and ethical issues I will need to follow when advertising my campaign, as
I have a model in my campaign, it was important I made a model release form where the
model will have to sign it for their permission in order to take pictures of them. It is
important that no offensive or violent language isn't used in my poster and advert,
otherwise there will be defamation and libel. I will need to make sure all my adverts are
copyrighted as I do not ant anyone to copy my ideas, for example if I am going to use an
artist’s logo, I need to make sure I have permission to use it. I need to make sure my
information is not miss leading for example the date of my festival. If I wanted to use the
artist’s logo’s they would receive royalties. Lastly for representation, I need to make sure
I have not convened any stereotypes or been offensive to anyone

  • 20. Risk Assessment – Form I completed an industry standard risk assessment form before taking pictures for the festival. I had to look into what to take, transport, camera and lighting, sound and what the director should use. I had to do a risk assessment before hand because it will make sure I was protecting myself and the person I was taking pictures of from any risks or hazards, I have ensured that I have covered all aspects of risks that could happen.

Legal and ethical There are legal and ethical issues I will need to follow when advertising my campaign, as I have a model in my campaign, it was important I made a model release form where the model will have to sign it for their permission in order to take pictures of them. It is important that no offensive or violent language isn't used in my poster and advert, otherwise there will be defamation and libel. I will need to make sure all my adverts are copyrighted as I do not ant anyone to copy my ideas, for example if I am going to use an artist’s logo, I need to make sure I have permission to use it. I need to make sure my information is not miss leading for example the date of my festival. If I wanted to use the artist’s logo’s they would receive royalties. Lastly for representation, I need to make sure I have not convened any stereotypes or been offensive to anyone
