4. CLASS ROOM INTERACTION PROCEDURE STUDENTS RESPONSE
PHASE 1.INTRODUCTORY PHASE
After the routine classroom practices, teacher begins the class with the general discussion
among the students. Teacher asked some questions relating to management.
Activity 1.(General discussion and story telling)
Teacher tells a story to the students
A group of individuals visited on an Island where the residents use no footwear. A wonderful idea
struck there, why not manufacture footwear suitable for Islanders and promote them among the
residents. They started a manufacturing unit with an initial plan to manufcture20, 000 pairs of
footwear (planning). They purchased necessary material (organizing) and recruited adequate staff
with the required skills to perform various task (Staffing). The owners gave instructions to
maintain quality standard (Directing).All activities were being carried as per plan (controlling). But
the finance was scarce.
After the story teacher ask some questions to students
 How was they invested money?
 What was the main objective of the business?
 What are the factors that resulted in the success if that business
PHASE 2. DEVELOPMENTAL PHASE
Activity 1. (group discussion)
In order to elaborate the need and importance of Management, teacher gave some instructions
about the group discussion then teacher divides the whole class in to four groups and provide
activity sheets regarding the situational task. Allotted time 10 mts

Situation: suppose a soft drink company started in Andhrapradesh. The available water is very
hard. So they cannot use directly. The company has two options. First option is buy bottled
water@Rs.10/-. The second option is buy a purifier. if the management is efficient;

Situation: Samsung Ltd. Introduced a new smart phone in the market. In the high competitive
world, Nokia ltd wants to challenge the changes. if the management is efficient ;

Group 4:
Situation: Imagine, a textile manufacturing unit established in your village. It has an efficient
management and it runs with profitable manner.
