 The purposeful application of information in
the design, production, and utilization of goods
and services, and in the organization of
human activities.
 We use different technology to enhance our
work and present it more effectively.
 As a film maker, we should know how to use
different type of techniques in order to make
our work look more professional and
presentable.

 I used a Canon camera D600
 A tripod when needed to cover a shot which
needs stability.
 And also microphones to record my dialogues
even more clearly

 I used Adobe premiere
software to give different
kinds of effects to my clip
and make it more
professional. This was the
first time I was using it and it
helped me a lot in my work
 Adobe gives a range of
effects and transition to use
in your movie and also helps
you export your movie in a
media player.
 It is very less time
consuming and easy to use
also. We can also download
these software through sites
or Google for trials.

 Vimeo helped me
upload my videos and
share it to my blog.
 To make an account in
vimeo is very easy
and only limited
people use it as
compared to youtube.
 I made my blog on
wordpress to post and
publish all my work
with the usage of
different themes and
backgrounds. The
variety of options and
techniques made me
use this blog even
more effectively

If I was out or travelling
and had to finish my
work. I always carry
my laptop which
helped me stay in
touch with my work
and complete it on the
given deadlines.
More over, I used an 8
GB Usb to store all my
work and keep it as a
back up.
 My phone made me
stay in touch with my
friends and teachers
in case if I need any
help and also told my
friends to comment
on the video posted
on my blog and
facebook account.

 Before taking media studies as a subject I never
knew how to use all these technologies in an
efficient way and use them fully and properly.
 I was only aware of my phone, laptop and usb.
 Through all this I learnt how to use these
different techniques and make your work
presentable.
 Without these my work would rather take time
and not be as good as it is now.

 The rise of technologies is a result of present day
innovations in the varied fields of technology. Some of
these technologies combine power to achieve the
same goals. This is referred to as converging
technologies. Convergence is the process of combining
separate technologies and merging resources to be
more interactive and user friendly. An example of this
would be high technology with telephony features as
well as data productivity and video combined features.
Today technical innovations representing progressive
developments are emerging to make use of
technology’s competitive advantage. Through
convergence of technologies, different fields combine
together to produce similar goals.
