1. How to request a book using Interlibrary Loan Want a book that Forman doesn’t have? Follow these steps in order to request it from another library.
2. Start at the Forman Library Webpage. Click on the link for reQuest, Connecticut’s Statewide Library Catalog.
3. Enter the title of the book in the search box and hit “Search”
4. Select the book you are looking for from the list of results and click on it.
5. A new window will open with more information about the book. From here, click on “Request This Item”.
6. Another new window will open. Enter your information and click “Submit”. Enter your e-mail address; you will receive an e-mail when your book arrives. Finally, click the “Submit” button. Enter your name and create a password.
7. Success! You will receive an e-mail when your book arrives; it usually takes about 7-10 days. If you need help finding or requesting a book, ask Ms. K-M!
