How to Write Poetry and Rhyming Poems
1. How to Write Poetry and Rhyming Poems
which pierced its way through clouds and on the golden gates.
the heavens, everything that was good, virtuous and solemn,
now darkened with the cold strike of reality.
A new dark stillness remains, but the lesson learned.
virtues can always be deceived, and manipulated,
a simple cloud structure,
passing through moment and space,
running from the particular wind,
though it will never escape.
What did I write about? Can you recreate that impression? Basically, it is about a new cloud,
that is being pushed by the wind. Somehow, I managed to explain it in 4 lines. That is
because simply stating that the idea exists isn't enough. Humans were beautifully made with
five senses. These five senses include the most familiar things to people, and by describing
objects, consequently concrete or abstract, using these fives senses can be your most
powerful tool to alluring readers. Say, now, that many of us were writing a poem about
sounds. What do we find out about sound? When we hear that, it is not instant, significance
its continuous. What else? The idea fluctuates, in pitch and throughout tone. So different
sounds are usually produced. What else? It is developed of silence. Finally, Some appears
are good, and some are bad. So what can we make of this? Here is what I managed to get.
when all is silent,
it starts very, very slow,
it is effective its way in,
it defeats its drum,
and soon that dances,
a dance too swift,
up, down,
and leaves your presence,
as slowly as the idea came.
Okay, let us assess it. In the beginning, poesie italiane we learned that the topic arose from
peace and quiet. This sets off our mood I assume, but is really just a descriptor. Notice how
the very first two lines are slow examining lines, then progressively speeds upward, and then,
finally, comes here we are at a slow pace. This is really a technique used by many experts,
especially that of author Ellen Hopkins. Your lover shapes the physical sound, and model of
words, to fit their matters. Think of it as any physical adjective. We know that tempo is usually
changing, and this is seen because of the fluctuation of words.
Finally, your own final tool is those nusance little definitions you learned in school.
Metaphors, similes, anachronism, hyperbole. Many of these will add flair, mystique, secret,
2. and intelligence to any poetry.
For instance, a poem I had written almost recently entitled Ode to Fortune.
Ohio Fortune,
how abstract an instrument you are,
so difficult to play, yet so simple to deceive
the ears of those that listen closely.
how easy it truly is to strum your strings,
yet how impossible to strum a chord.
what grand schemes produced you?
a virgin vein owing north?
a severed artery of the arm?
must blood be drawn in thy name?
or is generally there honesty to thy working?
the sounds drive men to beasts,
and when men play chords,
no chords maybe there is played anymore.
but will ones corruption stop there?
It essentially talks about how fortune is difficult to acquire, and once men obtain the item,
they do everything in their capacity to keep it.
