Design and fabrication of Zig Zag Pneumatic Lift
Abstract
Zig Zag Pneumatic Lift project is developed for the users to lift any weight using air pressure.
High pressure air is stored in a tank. A cylinder with piston arrangement is connected with a zig
zag pattern. Two pipes connected with ball valves connects the air tank with the cylinder. When
one valve is opened, the air rushes out into the cylinder. Therefore the piston moves in one
direction. The rod connected with the piston pushes the zig zag frame so that the lift moves up.
When the other ball valve is opened, the air inside the cylinder is released. Therefore the lift
comes down.
Fabrication of Automatic Saw Cutting
Abstract
The objective of Automatic Saw Cutting project is to cut the metals and woods automatically
without man power. Automatic Saw Cutting project is very useful in the industrial companies. In
industrial companies there is need to cut the metals and woods to different shape. By using man
power it takes many times, and also accuracy may be low. By using this project cutting
operation is preformatted automatically. So it saves the time as well as reduces the man power.
The accuracy also achieved in this project.
This project is designed with microcontroller, Real time clock, Relay driver circuit along with
relays, Keypad and Mechanical arrangement.
Fabrication of Valve Regrinding Machine
Abstract
Some valves and valve guides are not matched suitably. So it requires regrinding of valves.
Grinding machines can probably be best classified according to the type of surfaces they are
used to produce. In order to bring the job to the required shape, size and surface finish, the
surplus stock is removal either by feeding the job against the revolving wheel or by forcing the
revolving wheel against the job. Precision grinding machines should be used with care and be
operated by skilled personnel. As these machines are used to produce products that have close
dimensional tolerances they must be constructed very accurately. Their frames should be heavy
and rigid to assure permanency of alignment. Rotating parts should be accurately balance to
avoid vibration.
This project light duty value regrinder is a table model used to grind the valve faces of the used
engine values to the required angle (30 , 45 ). It has two small motors, one for giving speedy
motion to the value stem and another one for rotating the grinding wheel. A swiveling head is
attached to correct and to set the value angle to the desired level.
Advantage of this value - regrinding machine is that it is very simple in construction and its cost
is very low when compared with the costly machines performing the same operation.
Design and Analysis of Two Wheeler with Propeller Shaft
Abstract
This project is developed for the users to rotate the back wheel of a two wheeler using propeller
shaft. Usually in two wheelers, chain and sprocket method is used to drive the back wheel. But
in this project, the Engine is connected at the front part of the vehicle. The shaft of the engine is
connected with a long rod. The other side of the long rod is connected with a set of bevel gears.
The bevel gears are used to rotate the shaft in 90 o angle. The back wheel of the vehicle is
connected with the bevel gear (driven). Thus the back wheel is rotated in perpendicular to the
engine shaft. Thus the two wheeler will move forward. According to the direction of motion of the
engine, the wheel will be moved forward or reverse. This avoids the usage of chain and
sprocket method.
Fabrication Multi Agro Cutter
Abstract
Multi Agri Cutter is the new innovative and effective concept mainly used for agricultural field. It
is simple in construction and the working process is very easy. And it is mostly used in the
agricultural field for the cutting of crops, sugarcane, wooden pieces and etc..,
WORKING PRINCIPLE
The below items are used in this equipment
• Motor • Rotating Disc
• Ram • Cutter
In our project we are using the multi agricultural cutter for cutting the crops, sugarcane, wooden
materials and etc. It consists of simple manner and the used components are motor and rotating
disc arrangement.
Fuzzy Logic Vehicle Parking System
Abstract
Our project aim is to control the vehicle parking status within an allocated area using embedded
system.To implement our idea we have to connect a counter for vehicle at way IN and way OUT
.The use of counter here is to count how many vehicles goes inside to the parking area. A way
IN counter is incremented for each vehicle entry; similarly a way OUT counter is decremented
by each vehicle out. Here sensors are used for counting purpose. The number of vehicles
present in the parking area is currently displayed on the display unit. Here LCD is used as a
display unit.
From the display unit we can easily find out the parking status. The counter circuit is connected
to the micro controller unit for opening the door at correct status depend upon the number of
vehicles displayed on the display unit. A stepper motor is connected at both vehicle way IN and
way OUT for door opening and closing actions. Here we already stored a limit (number of
vehicles) in micro controller unit. When the way IN counter reach a pre-loaded limit (number of
vehicles) the stepper motor gets disconnect from the control circuit so as to the door does not
open in that condition.
Fabrication of Hydraulic Jack
Abstract
Our project aims to lift heavy loads using hydraulic pump.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This is the project, which works on the principle of oil pressure for lifting up and down the heavy
objects. The human pressure is applied on the lever. This creates an oil pressure on the piston.
When the oil pressure is created on the piston, the piston automatically moves up and down.
The load is placed on the piston. Hence the load can be lifted up or down as per our
requirement.
Fabrication of Automatic Lubrication Unit
Abstract
The objective of the project is to provide the lubricant on the heading machine.
Scope:
This project is used in the metals grinding machine, such as drilling machine, lathe.
When grinding the metals, the grinding tools getting head due to the head the grinding tool may
be damaged. By using this project the lubricants automatically sprayed on the tools in order to
reduce the head.
This project is designed with Microcontroller, Amplifier, ADC, Transducer sensor, Relay driver
circuit and Coolant Pump.
Mileage Projector for two wheeler
Abstract
The objective of this project is to determine the Mileage of the vehicle.
Scope:
Normal existing meter are Analog meter. The one draw back in this meter are we cannot know
that exact fuel quantity in the tank. In this project the exact fuel quantity is displayed in the digital
form and also speed of the vehicle, how much distance the vehicle has been traveled and
further kilometer for available fuel quantity like these information also displayed in the LCD
display.
Fabrication of Wind Mill for home
Abstract
The objective of this project is to generate electric power through the fabrication of wind mill.
Scope:
Now day's power demand is increased so this project is used to generate the electrical power in
order to compensate the electric power demand.
Design & Fabrication of Auto Braking System
Abstract
The objective of this project is to design the automatic braking system in order to avoid the
accident.
Scope:
This project is necessary to be attached to every vehicle. Mainly it is used when drive the
vehicles in night time. Mostly the accident occurred in the night time due to long travel the driver
may get tired. So the driver may hit the front side vehicle or road side trees. By using this project
the vehicle is stopped by auto braking system. So we can avoid the accident.
Design and Fabrication of Automatic Reverse Braking System
Abstract
The aim is to design an "Automatic Reverse Braking System" for a purpose of prevent collision
between the vehicle and any objects while moving in the reverse path. The main advantage of
this is there is no need of manual power. If there is any object in the reverse path, the sensor
senses the object and the brake are applied automatically. The high quality sensor is used to
sense the objects on reverse path.
Design and Fabrication of Domestic Refrigeration Unit
Abstract
The object of the project is to design, fabricate and assemble an economically '' domestic
refrigeration unit'' having, aesthetic look efficient and small in size.
This unit is unique in the sense that it body is in the form of a bucket which works as an
evaporator and easy in transport from one place to another place.
This unit can be utilized in a heavy duty manufacturing shop consist 25 to 35 workers as a
sources cold water and to store eatables things. The basic idea behind refrigeration is to slow
down the activity of bacteria (which all food contains) so that it takes longer for the bacteria to
spoil the food.
Domestic refrigeration is rather limited in scope, being concerned primarily with household
refrigerators and home freezers. However, because the number of units in services is quite
large, domestic refrigeration represents a signification portion of the refrigeration industry.
Fabrication of FP & SBC Cooking System:
Abstract
Solar thermal energy refers to the technologies that utilize the sun energy for cooking, for
heating water and other heattransfer fluids for a variety of residential, industrial and utility
applications. Simple and widely used applications of solar thermal energy include cooking,
water heating, space heating, power generation and agricultural drying. If we talk
Purposely about the solar cooking, then the available literature shows that cooking in the
evening or off sunshine hours in solar devices is possible by operating the cooker on auxiliary
power or by using different phase change materials (PCMs) in solar cookers, which are filled
beneath the absorbing tray to be worked as thermal heat storage. In the present article some of
different phase change materials are studied for solar cooking and among them stearic acid
(commercial grade) is found to be a good latent heat storage which is experimentally tested in a
simple box type solar cooker and the comparison is made with another similar design solar
cooker without PCM.

  • 1. Design and fabrication of Zig Zag Pneumatic Lift Abstract Zig Zag Pneumatic Lift project is developed for the users to lift any weight using air pressure. High pressure air is stored in a tank. A cylinder with piston arrangement is connected with a zig zag pattern. Two pipes connected with ball valves connects the air tank with the cylinder. When one valve is opened, the air rushes out into the cylinder. Therefore the piston moves in one direction. The rod connected with the piston pushes the zig zag frame so that the lift moves up. When the other ball valve is opened, the air inside the cylinder is released. Therefore the lift comes down. Fabrication of Automatic Saw Cutting Abstract The objective of Automatic Saw Cutting project is to cut the metals and woods automatically without man power. Automatic Saw Cutting project is very useful in the industrial companies. In industrial companies there is need to cut the metals and woods to different shape. By using man power it takes many times, and also accuracy may be low. By using this project cutting operation is preformatted automatically. So it saves the time as well as reduces the man power. The accuracy also achieved in this project. This project is designed with microcontroller, Real time clock, Relay driver circuit along with relays, Keypad and Mechanical arrangement.
  • 2. Fabrication of Valve Regrinding Machine Abstract Some valves and valve guides are not matched suitably. So it requires regrinding of valves. Grinding machines can probably be best classified according to the type of surfaces they are used to produce. In order to bring the job to the required shape, size and surface finish, the surplus stock is removal either by feeding the job against the revolving wheel or by forcing the revolving wheel against the job. Precision grinding machines should be used with care and be operated by skilled personnel. As these machines are used to produce products that have close dimensional tolerances they must be constructed very accurately. Their frames should be heavy and rigid to assure permanency of alignment. Rotating parts should be accurately balance to avoid vibration. This project light duty value regrinder is a table model used to grind the valve faces of the used engine values to the required angle (30 , 45 ). It has two small motors, one for giving speedy motion to the value stem and another one for rotating the grinding wheel. A swiveling head is attached to correct and to set the value angle to the desired level. Advantage of this value - regrinding machine is that it is very simple in construction and its cost is very low when compared with the costly machines performing the same operation. Design and Analysis of Two Wheeler with Propeller Shaft Abstract This project is developed for the users to rotate the back wheel of a two wheeler using propeller shaft. Usually in two wheelers, chain and sprocket method is used to drive the back wheel. But in this project, the Engine is connected at the front part of the vehicle. The shaft of the engine is connected with a long rod. The other side of the long rod is connected with a set of bevel gears. The bevel gears are used to rotate the shaft in 90 o angle. The back wheel of the vehicle is connected with the bevel gear (driven). Thus the back wheel is rotated in perpendicular to the engine shaft. Thus the two wheeler will move forward. According to the direction of motion of the engine, the wheel will be moved forward or reverse. This avoids the usage of chain and sprocket method.
  • 3. Fabrication Multi Agro Cutter Abstract Multi Agri Cutter is the new innovative and effective concept mainly used for agricultural field. It is simple in construction and the working process is very easy. And it is mostly used in the agricultural field for the cutting of crops, sugarcane, wooden pieces and etc.., WORKING PRINCIPLE The below items are used in this equipment • Motor • Rotating Disc • Ram • Cutter In our project we are using the multi agricultural cutter for cutting the crops, sugarcane, wooden materials and etc. It consists of simple manner and the used components are motor and rotating disc arrangement. Fuzzy Logic Vehicle Parking System Abstract Our project aim is to control the vehicle parking status within an allocated area using embedded system.To implement our idea we have to connect a counter for vehicle at way IN and way OUT .The use of counter here is to count how many vehicles goes inside to the parking area. A way IN counter is incremented for each vehicle entry; similarly a way OUT counter is decremented by each vehicle out. Here sensors are used for counting purpose. The number of vehicles present in the parking area is currently displayed on the display unit. Here LCD is used as a display unit. From the display unit we can easily find out the parking status. The counter circuit is connected to the micro controller unit for opening the door at correct status depend upon the number of vehicles displayed on the display unit. A stepper motor is connected at both vehicle way IN and way OUT for door opening and closing actions. Here we already stored a limit (number of vehicles) in micro controller unit. When the way IN counter reach a pre-loaded limit (number of vehicles) the stepper motor gets disconnect from the control circuit so as to the door does not open in that condition.
  • 4. Fabrication of Hydraulic Jack Abstract Our project aims to lift heavy loads using hydraulic pump. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is the project, which works on the principle of oil pressure for lifting up and down the heavy objects. The human pressure is applied on the lever. This creates an oil pressure on the piston. When the oil pressure is created on the piston, the piston automatically moves up and down. The load is placed on the piston. Hence the load can be lifted up or down as per our requirement. Fabrication of Automatic Lubrication Unit Abstract The objective of the project is to provide the lubricant on the heading machine. Scope: This project is used in the metals grinding machine, such as drilling machine, lathe. When grinding the metals, the grinding tools getting head due to the head the grinding tool may be damaged. By using this project the lubricants automatically sprayed on the tools in order to reduce the head. This project is designed with Microcontroller, Amplifier, ADC, Transducer sensor, Relay driver circuit and Coolant Pump.
  • 5. Mileage Projector for two wheeler Abstract The objective of this project is to determine the Mileage of the vehicle. Scope: Normal existing meter are Analog meter. The one draw back in this meter are we cannot know that exact fuel quantity in the tank. In this project the exact fuel quantity is displayed in the digital form and also speed of the vehicle, how much distance the vehicle has been traveled and further kilometer for available fuel quantity like these information also displayed in the LCD display. Fabrication of Wind Mill for home Abstract The objective of this project is to generate electric power through the fabrication of wind mill. Scope: Now day's power demand is increased so this project is used to generate the electrical power in order to compensate the electric power demand. Design & Fabrication of Auto Braking System Abstract The objective of this project is to design the automatic braking system in order to avoid the accident. Scope: This project is necessary to be attached to every vehicle. Mainly it is used when drive the vehicles in night time. Mostly the accident occurred in the night time due to long travel the driver
  • 6. may get tired. So the driver may hit the front side vehicle or road side trees. By using this project the vehicle is stopped by auto braking system. So we can avoid the accident. Design and Fabrication of Automatic Reverse Braking System Abstract The aim is to design an "Automatic Reverse Braking System" for a purpose of prevent collision between the vehicle and any objects while moving in the reverse path. The main advantage of this is there is no need of manual power. If there is any object in the reverse path, the sensor senses the object and the brake are applied automatically. The high quality sensor is used to sense the objects on reverse path. Design and Fabrication of Domestic Refrigeration Unit Abstract The object of the project is to design, fabricate and assemble an economically '' domestic refrigeration unit'' having, aesthetic look efficient and small in size. This unit is unique in the sense that it body is in the form of a bucket which works as an evaporator and easy in transport from one place to another place. This unit can be utilized in a heavy duty manufacturing shop consist 25 to 35 workers as a sources cold water and to store eatables things. The basic idea behind refrigeration is to slow down the activity of bacteria (which all food contains) so that it takes longer for the bacteria to spoil the food.
  • 7. Domestic refrigeration is rather limited in scope, being concerned primarily with household refrigerators and home freezers. However, because the number of units in services is quite large, domestic refrigeration represents a signification portion of the refrigeration industry. Fabrication of FP & SBC Cooking System: Abstract Solar thermal energy refers to the technologies that utilize the sun energy for cooking, for heating water and other heattransfer fluids for a variety of residential, industrial and utility applications. Simple and widely used applications of solar thermal energy include cooking, water heating, space heating, power generation and agricultural drying. If we talk Purposely about the solar cooking, then the available literature shows that cooking in the evening or off sunshine hours in solar devices is possible by operating the cooker on auxiliary power or by using different phase change materials (PCMs) in solar cookers, which are filled beneath the absorbing tray to be worked as thermal heat storage. In the present article some of different phase change materials are studied for solar cooking and among them stearic acid (commercial grade) is found to be a good latent heat storage which is experimentally tested in a simple box type solar cooker and the comparison is made with another similar design solar cooker without PCM.
