Future plans for cloud services
Adopt similar technologies for other services we provide from our CPD’s in Codorníu
Group, as well as online sales of cava, which are much more intensive at Christmas
time, the production or collection of raw materials also has its picks of more IT resource
consumption.

This is an important slide. Colt is not a virtual company. Real networks, real data centres, real service centres with Colt experts. This allows us to be the Local Cloud company, you know where data and apps are. You know which network you are on. You know what the SLA is, and you know that we’ll pick up the phone when you ring.
I just want to enumerate those DC’s for you. By the way, we also manufacture DC’s for other people, such as Verne Global, so we are experts at this stuff. We drink our own champagne, by building out our newset DC’s with our own modular technology. 2012: Modular Data Centre Solution of the year winner at 5 th Datacentre Awards by Broad Group 2012: Tier III concurrently maintainable certification based on the design for Colt London Data Centre 2012: Data Centre Innovation of the Year 2012 award by Information Age for a video case study on delivering a 500m2 data centre from the UK to Iceland 2011: The Uptime Institute awarded Colt with Management & Operations (M&O) Stamp of Approval for data centre operations. Colt is the first data centre provider in Europe to receive the Award for operational proficiency. 2011: European Award for "Energy Efficiency in Data Centres" at the Datacentres in Europe Awards. Colt received the award in recognition of our highly successful Energy Efficiency programme, reducing PUE by 10% 2010: Datacentre Leaders Award for the modular data centre solution awarded to Colt by Datacentre Dynamics jury.
Lastly, by way of background, you need to know that Colt is a channel-friendly organisation. We are not a telco which only cares about its large customers.
We were first in Europe We have a long market participation, intimate with Vmware We invested heavily to secure the full VMware vCloud Datacenter accreditation, including implementing all of the design recommendations.
Which vCloud Package would you recommend? The counter argument. The customer wants the development platform to test new developments to their portal, they have stated that the performance of the VMs is not critical but in some cases a new development may require more resources to be used and they may want an Enterprise vDC. However, for this customer the Essentials vDC is the appropriate solution for their needs. Total Cost of Ownership is not Everything
