2. Hidden
Strength
Dear Friends in Christ,
It's not beautiful or impressive. It's not a great
work of architecture or engineering.
Nevertheless, this old bridge is still standing. For
nearly 100 years it has stood strong.
The strength of this bridge goes unnoticed. Its
hidden within. "Rebar" is the reinforcing
strength inside the concrete frame of this
bridge. It's these steel rods that significantly
strengthens it. Without it, this bridge would fail.
It's you, who love and support Camp Luther,
who is its "reinforcing steel." It's through your
prayers, gifts, volunteering, and promoting that
has allowed this camp to stand strong for over
70 years. The hidden strength of Camp Luther is
in those, who through faith in Christ, who
believe in this ministry, reinforcing it, keeping it
strong.
Thank you for a wonderful 2017. May the
Lord continue to bless Camp Luther and all who
reinforce it.
In Christ,
Gary "Woody" Vought
Executive Director
