2012
Great Antilles, Eastern United
states, Bermuda, Bahamas and
Eastern Canada where all
effected areas of Hurricane
Sandy.

2. There was flooding of New York subway
system. Numerous homes and businesses
where destroyed by fire, including over
100 homes in Breezy Point, Queens.
Large parts of the city and
surrounding areas lost
electricity for a week and
several thousand people in
the centre of town
Manhattan where
evacuated.
