Leaflet AO1 A dynamic leaflet, excellent choice of
photographers. A great concept to exhibit
work related to cities from the top of the
shard. Research could have had more breadth
however, you do glean the most significant
information from your sources.

It gives me great pleasure to see all the tasks
completed to such a sophisticated level. Your
responses to themes and briefs set aligned
with your analysis of exhibitions presents a
great start to the A2 course.

Next steps:
Next set needs to see you applying your understanding of the three areas to your response to London:
Geographically-
Visit different parts of London that are synonymous with particular ethnic groups. Can a particular
person sum up an area?
Look at the diversity of London….where does everyone come from?
Aerial views of the city…not necessarily from very high. Maybe looking down from the first level of
Brent Cross or Shopping City over people.
Physically-
Busy streets, commuters.
The suffocating buildings and redevelopment- look at Vorticist painters such as Percy Wyndham
Lewis.
Emotionally- should this be emotively?-
Photographing the city at dusk / sunrise.
Long exposures across the Thames.
