Prior to that GHY USA, Inc. acquired a production tool called
Smart Border that is a web based solution for US Imports.

Computerize the creation, movement, and data entry of
the CI for a shipment which is used to create entries
(header/sub-header/lines) – may contain CCN data
Client dependent process, we can only do as much as the
client is able to provide

Competitive solution to doing it in-house
Client is another user of the system in their own
private database, so their users can interact with the
system as much as you do
Client wants to be their own broker but have failover
to you when sick or on holidays

Very few companies have
qualified for this program

information flow needed for CSA
Can be a fully paper process,
does not have to be electronic
