within the world-famous Annapurna Region. The Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek is a thrilling
introduction to the wonders of trekking Experience and a more relaxed journey compared to
other options in the Annapurna area. Ghorepani trekking is specifically designed for people with

DAY TO DAY ITINERARY
Day1: Kathmandu Arrival (1,350m)
You will be met by our airport representative and escorted to your hotel, refresh yourself & your evening
is free. Your first overnight at your hotel in the valley of the gods…Kathmandu and overnight at hotel in
Kathmandu.
Day2: Drive to Pokhara (850m) – 6 hrs drive
We drive along the scenic Trisuli and Marsyangdi River to reach Pokhara, it’s a pretty good drive as we go
by the beautiful river which is also good for rafting; we view Ganesh Himal and the Manaslu peak as well
during the Driving. Pokhara is a tourist's paradise full of natural as well as cultural heritage sites such as
lakes, caves, & temples of Buddhist and Hindus along with her lovely mountains; after 6 hours of driving;
we will arrive in Pokhara, the city of lakes…Welcome to this beautiful town of serene lakes that gives so
much meaning to your holidays. Overnight at Hotel includes BB.
Day3: Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,575m) – 4/5 hrs walk
After having breakfast at the hotel, we start our driving to Nayapul which takes approximately 45
minutes. We then start the first part of our hiking out to Tikhedunga (1575m) Via Birethanti (1065m.) this
is a pretty easy flat out hike as we pass through several small lively villages and settlements. After some
time, we will ascend gently to the final destination of the day. Overnight at Guesthouse includes BLD.
Day4: Trek to Ghorepani (2,775m) - 6/7 hrs walk
Today, we ascend steeply for the first 2 hours and then ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and
Banthanti. This path gives us breathtaking views of Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m.), Hiunchuli
(6441m.), and the grand Annapurna (7219m) south on the way. Our trail now gets quite easy going as we
pass through rhododendron and shadowy forests amidst the cackling of birds which gives us good feelings
till we ascend gently up to the final camp. Overnight at Guesthouse includes BLD.
Day5: Trek to Ghandruk village (1,950m) – 7/8 hrs walk
Today, we hike to Poon Hill (3210m.) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche
Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South
(7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II
(7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous snowcapped mountains in the morning then Hike
down to Ghorepani, have a hot breakfast at Lodge and trek to Ghandruk village which take about 7/8

hours to reach. Overnight at Guesthouse includes BLD. Ghandruk is the most interesting tribal Gurung
village in Nepal, which provides Gorkha soldiers. It has excellent close -up views of Annapurna South,
Machhapurchhe and Himachuli mountains.
Day6: Trek to Nayapul and drive back to Pokhara city. 4/5 hrs walk and 45min. drive.
Today is our last day trekking of our trip and it is very easy trek by descending gently half of the way
through the rice field and local villages to Syauli bazaar and walks flat part until Nayapul then drive from
Nayapul to Pokhara. It takes around one and hour to drive and Overnight at Hotel. Inclusive Bed and
Breakfast.
Day7: Drive back to Kathmandu
Early morning after breakfast, we catch tourist bus which leaves between 7 to 8 am. Overnight at Hotel
on BB.
