Electronic pathfinder for navigating the American Memory website by the Library of Congress (2005 version), which relays on three simple principles for navigation: search, browse, link. Example of a next-generation library pathfinder, which exploits the networked environment. This pathfinder was part of a public library book display in 2005, and ran as a slideshow on a PC, functioning as the visual draw, the poster, the sign, the promotional moving image to draw patrons to the book display itself. Composed by a librarian (a 2004 graduate University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign).
