• Work with both humility and urgency
• Move beyond either just (1) blaming poverty
or (2) blaming teachers
• Lift up and support parent, teacher, and
community voices to lead the campaign
• Understand and use new evidence about
effective teaching

• GO is partnering with parents and
teachers to:
– Raise awareness and urgency about the
importance of effective teaching.
– Identify and understand specific changes
that will support effective teaching.
– Organize to make those changes.
