2. There is a fairy tale in Catalonia, “La rateta presumida” in which many different animals
want to merry a vain and arrogant mouse.
She dismisses all of them, except a cat… and cats love mice… to eat them!
On Shrove Monday, pupils from our school use to go to the forest to play and have a meal
together.
And this year, on Friday, they all also performed the tale in the gym.
They all wore a mask according to the animal they played. Teachers play as cats !!!
They didn’t rehearsed it, since children know the tale by heart… and the result was
fantastic.
Finally we all had a funny dance together.
