This document provides instructions for a critical thinking activity. It asks the reader to predict what the accompanying text is about based on its title. It then instructs the reader to complete their KWL chart and annotate the text by underlining titles and subtitles, circling the year of publication, underlining recommended reading, and highlighting definitions of critical thinking. Finally, it poses questions about why educators focus on critical thinking, reorganizing statements, adding other abilities, providing activity examples, and sharing an opinion on the text.
