7. New Damage These are photos of subterranean termite damage. The drywood damage was just inches away from this evidence. The Judge lost faith in the fumigator and canceled his agreement and called a nation franchised termite company whom treated the Judge’s new found subterranean infestation. The Judge was claiming relief from damages sustained from subterranean termites on his home due to a negligent initial termite inspection. The damaged wood was imported and difficult to replace. The suit was approximately for one million dollars

9. IR Inspection Infrared images were taken of all the rooms in the home such as is illustrated in the photo and IR image. Fact #1; There was no current evidence of live subterranean or drywood termites at the time of my inspection. I found more sub termite damage that was recorded thus increasing the claim. Term A Trac motion detector was used to scan the areas that showed drywood termite evidence or where termite damage had been repaired. With respect to the claim was the question was, “how does one prove how long it takes for subterranean termites to eat wood”?

14. The “right to protect your property” was fought for in this case . My testimony was brief and to the point. Being a hearing and not a trial there was no cross examination by an opposing attorney. I presented my report as evidence, however the Special Master chooses not to rule on this matter and gave the unit owner 30 days to file lawsuit against her neighbors to allow tenting. This case was sent to a higher authority to rule upon. The finial outcome was that all six unit owners were mandated by the city to fumigate. Hence the townhouse cluster was fumigated with no opposition from the other unit owners in the cluster or the Home Owner Association. This case set a standard for other townships and cities. Therefore, this case had gotten a lot of publicity. I was quoted by the media [TV, News papers, Internet] and they interviewed other pest control operators and well known entomologist from the University of Florida research center, we all agreed with the opinion to fumigate in this case.
