planet, asteroid or comet where it is nearest
to the sun. Mars’ perihelion is 207 million
kilometers.
Mars orbit is not unusual it’s just further from
the sun.
4. Mars’ Rotation And Size
Mars is the smallest in terms of other planets.
0.376 times Earth’s gravity would be 3.687
newton per kilogram. A 100 pound person
would weigh 37.7 pounds on Mars.
5. Mars’ Orbit In One Year
687 days on Earth equals one full year on
Mars.
The distance that
Mars travels around
the sun is calculated to
be 977,388,717 miles.
6. Mars’ Atmosphere
Mars Atmosphere
The atmosphere of Mars is made of 95%
carbon dioxide, 3% nitrogen, 1.6%
argon, and contains oxygen, water, and
methane.
The atmosphere is thin on Mars.
7. Mars’ Atmosphere
The temperature on Mars changes around -220⁰F in the Winter to 70⁰F
in the summer.
